The never ending install nears its end...
Well, barring a sub change out, this is it. I am completely satisfied and feel I have reached, perhaps passed just a bit, the point of dimishing returns. My goal of having as much trunk space as possible was met, the polks active sound crazy real, the subs blend well, I have my time delay dialed in,...

Best PG amplfiers EVER. ZPA. Also biggest pain in the ass, :) Best series of amplifers EVER built for car audio MS Series!! Indestructible. Killer build (especially MS2125) Great design, simple, elegant. That would be MY choice. IMNSHO the ZPA series are the best amps ever made, period. ZPA pain in...

Oh ya, the original thread! I am running a ZX-450 active on my Polks, so 75 watts by 4 on the front end. There is sooo much power it brings everything alive, it is truly amazing! I am also bypassing the amps internal crossovers in favor of my Alpine CDA-9887's on board ones, I just prefer the contro...

Another thought......... Sell the 2 TI's and buy 4 RSDc's....... 8) Yeeeah! Those things get rowdy on little power. With 1250 a pop, they should absolutely slam. You could run 4 subs on that power quite nicely as well. Mike, you should check out the RSD comps as well. Flogger likes them mor...

before i went active i did bridge the fronts passively, and the output was very similiar to them active @ 75watts rms, hard to believe but true I believe it, I went active two months or so ago on my Polk SR6500's and OMG, what a diff!!!! Bigger soundstage, louder, cleaner, crisper, everything was a...

Tests have shown that the ZPA amps actually drop in power output when you go into 2, 1 ohm loads when the amp switches modes. The result I read in CSR about 10 yrs ago a 0.5 was doing 1115 @ 4 ohms, but dropped to 796 (or so, can't remember the actual numbers) @ 2 ohms. So it would benifit you and ...

I havent popped a fuse in days, that is until coming home late last night after an unsuccesful night of chasing putang. I was wailing away, when WHAM! no output from my subbies. Whats weird is the fuse didnt even blow, it looks perfect! WTF? I replaced it with a new fuse on a whim and the amp works ...
