new xenon 200.2 installed wow what a differnce
I bought this amp from gkitching months ago, but never got around to installing it. My T600.4 started cutting in and out, and hissing on the left front channel. So, decided to hook up the 200.2 and man, I can't believe how much better it sounds. I know it puts out about twice the power, and I have h...

I snagged 2 JLW3 only 3 months old in a sealed 3/4 mdf down firing box for 100 bucks. I figured that I could give them a try for that. The guy I purchased them from told me that they sound better than the old W6 versions. It's been years since I have heard any JL subs, but in the 90's just about eve...

Anyone check this out? My bro can't get enough of it. He claims he is getting addicted, actually gets on for about 4 hours a day. It's some sort of Multiplayer role playing game. I have tried to make a player but I find it kinda boring. I think the only thing I am addicted to is the phoenixgoldphoru...

Re: Ryval amplifier wish list
The next generation Ryval amps are in the planning stage, what features do you guys like/dislike/wish they had? Some ideas being tossed around are variable HP and LPL. Variable HP and LP, for sure, but something really adjustable in that 50 to 120 range. I find it very annoying trying to tune, when...

Well, as far as I-pod controls are concerned, some of the touch screen units have identical control to an I-pod. But most do not sport the greatest d/a's. This Pioneer may be worth a look. Pricing is $500 Retail. Since getting my head unit stolen, this thread has been very helpful for me. Greg, whe...

Whats the roll off on that Kenwood? -12, -18, -24? The lower the # the larger the gap between the crossover points you want, or you will have a bump in the blending of the two high and low signals... if its -12, I'd cross the highs at about 100, or set the sub to 50 and leave the highs at 80... I t...

Ok, I decided to use my Kenwood DDX7015 crossover. It has F and R high pass 40,60,80,100,all the way up to 220. I have it at 80 now for the Fronts. I also decided to use the deck for the sub with low pass of 80. The sub setting drops to 50 from 80 and I really wish it had 60 or 70 but it sound prett...

The amp is the Tantrum 600.4, I have 2 of them, but only one installed. I am using a T500.2 for the RSDC. Yeah, my fear is something is shorting out. but it seems strange to happen on the rear left channel and the left front channel. And it's not a subtle snap and crackle. It's like full volume gonn...

loud crackle and popping comming from left side
I found a new problem after 2 days of things going well. Today, while listening on low volume the left rear speaker started to pop and crackle (intermittently). I stopped turned off the car and removed the rca for that side. As I started down the road it came back without the RCA connected. Now the ...
