I did not have the cover on, silly me. The 0.5 has the microswitch bypassed, the 0.3 does not. It came on. While I am at this, what are common things to replace? I know the caps are, but can't find any info on which ones to purchase?

I recently purchased a 0.5 and 0.3 off ebay. I hooked them up to a power supply individually and the .3 will not turn on. The 0.5 turns on, green lights on the top, and 4 red lights. The 0.5 looks like this, except there are no yellow lights, 2 green ones. But the 4 red lights are on. Is this normal...

Ah I knew that, answered my own question on the power to the amps and the grounds, silly me. I just couldn't remember what the other thing was called. They used to be everywhere, and now that I have use for one of those or the tantrum model, I can't find it!

Can you list your equipment? I saw something in your trunk that I can't remember the name for. It some sort of accessory power distribution thing from PG. I am also curious as what you used for your distribution block to your amps and if you used one to ground as well.

What does the frank job look like? I don't want white for sure. Where do I get the new caps, I've read about doing it just didn't look too far into buying the caps.

I am confident on removing covers etc for some careful cleaning. Just looking for any tips from someone that has done it to make it a little easier. Disassembling for paint and restoration is what I am not sure about.

1. I am trying to source down some balanced line drivers. Anyone have a lead on some?

2. Even though its not a balanced signal, would a TLD66 line driver be sufficient for these amps?

3. What is the good/bad of either setup?

Is there a benefit of doing the mod for a 4ohm speaker? Meaning, will the ZPA operate at a 2ohm load with the mod even though the speaker is 4 ohm?

What are these amps rated at 4ohm, 14.4v? I am attempting to purchase these amps but after some time of searching I have come across many different ratings for these amps. Ive seen 150x2, 250x2, 300x2 for the ZPA .5 and 75x2 to 150x2 for the .3 What is the correct RMS for these amps?
