Hey Guys, Thanks for all of the help! I tried it out again today, and the symptom is a little different, and interesting, so I thought I would share. When I turn the key ON, I get the whine for about 5-7seconds, and it fades out, and goes away. This is good! It used to whine all the time... during m...

When The unit powers on (even with engine off), I get a loud pitch whine through all speakers. Here are some general setup details, and troubleshooting done: 1. System - Pioneer Av...

Just installed in the door. Have been for a while. Why do they sound worse on an amp though? I dont get that... much much worse. Either that or the stock rears were filling in that much. I want my RSD stuff in ASAP What settings should everything be at on the amp when I throw it in? (RSD65Cs up fron...

Hey Guys, So I am in the middle of installing and building the new system, so everything is in stages lol. 1. I put my new deck in (Avic F90BT), and had speakers off headunit only. Sounded OK. Not great, but better than factory 2. I ran new wiring, and hooked the speakers and small (8") Eclipse...

Using small Gauge wiring....
Hey Guys, So my car has Molex plugs in the doors, and running new wire is supposed to be a huge bitch through them. So where better to ask advice? I am thinking of running 14ga wiring from the amp to the wiring harness. From there, let the stock wiring take the rest of the run. My problem is that I ...

Thats another idea too... hmmm.... If I do that, I can use a SPDT relay.... I would just leave the constan flow empty, and the triggered flow would then power the rear hatch speakers right? If so, that may be the best way to do it. Less wiring is better in this app. It just so the rear hatch speaker...

Hey Greg, Thanks for the advice... but I am not sure I understand. My plan was to have the speaker wire for the rear L/R channels leave the amp..... Inline with the RL (+) wire, have a SPDT Relay. This will allow me to switch bewteen the RL in the door and RL in the hatch. The same would be done on ...
