Strong motors for sure though!

It looks really good, though I do not understand the seats. also the side skirts look a bit too big, the front bumper when it wraps the fender is on an angle that doesn't jive with the side skirts, seems that it was just for wow factor. also the rims are multi hole for other vehicles instead of tha...

Sure, I can toss up more of the car :)

You guys are close, it hit 142.7 last weekend. Untuned, and my first time ever trying SPL... so I think its respectable :)

You'll see from the other pics... lots of Carbon Fiber.

Hey Guys, Thanks for all of the help! I tried it out again today, and the symptom is a little different, and interesting, so I thought I would share. When I turn the key ON, I get the whine for about 5-7seconds, and it fades out, and goes away. This is good! It used to whine all the time... during m...

Whine is still there with the ground disconnected.

If I touch the RCA male end to the chassis, I get the noise.

Well... at the risk of sounding like an idiot, here it goes: 1. I ran a ground from the deck, to the Batt. Still noise. However, when I unhooked from the Batt, the deck was still on?! Trust me... black wire right from the back of the deck was plugged into nothing! 2. I made a "hook" in a p...

Hey Guys, I have had this ever since I wired up the system, and have started trouble shooting, and its driving me nuts! When The unit powers on (even with engine off), I get a loud pitch whine through all speakers. Here are some general setup details, and troubleshooting done: 1. System - Pioneer Av...

The RSD Series is pretty new, and so is the Ryval line. I dont think anything will be new until next year at the earliest.

Turns out the mids are trashed..... seized solid. Not sure why! I only ever powered them off a OctaneR 5.0.4. I threw in the RSDC 6.0" Comps tonight, and they are simply awesome. I have them in without crossovers at the moment, but will throw them in tomorrow. Very pleased. I wonder how good th...

Just installed in the door. Have been for a while. Why do they sound worse on an amp though? I dont get that... much much worse. Either that or the stock rears were filling in that much. I want my RSD stuff in ASAP What settings should everything be at on the amp when I throw it in? (RSD65Cs up fron...

Hey Guys, So I am in the middle of installing and building the new system, so everything is in stages lol. 1. I put my new deck in (Avic F90BT), and had speakers off headunit only. Sounded OK. Not great, but better than factory 2. I ran new wiring, and hooked the speakers and small (8") Eclipse...

Using small Gauge wiring....

Hey Guys, So my car has Molex plugs in the doors, and running new wire is supposed to be a huge bitch through them. So where better to ask advice? I am thinking of running 14ga wiring from the amp to the wiring harness. From there, let the stock wiring take the rest of the run. My problem is that I ...

1.4 cubic feet should also be fine. Its in between the SPL and SQ ratings. If I were you, I would give it a shot (keep in mind a week or two of play is a good break-in), and if you want it a bit tighter, glue some styrofoam in the box to lower the volume down to the SQ levels :)

Thats another idea too... hmmm.... If I do that, I can use a SPDT relay.... I would just leave the constan flow empty, and the triggered flow would then power the rear hatch speakers right? If so, that may be the best way to do it. Less wiring is better in this app. It just so the rear hatch speaker...

Hey Greg, Thanks for the advice... but I am not sure I understand. My plan was to have the speaker wire for the rear L/R channels leave the amp..... Inline with the RL (+) wire, have a SPDT Relay. This will allow me to switch bewteen the RL in the door and RL in the hatch. The same would be done on ...

Should the fuse on the main Power wire be 300A then?

I am thinking a single-pole dual-throw relay inline with the speaker (+) would get the effect I want. just use the trunk light as the trigger..... ideas?
