I'm using 4ga wire and it's about 15' long. I'm kind of baffled because the subs are louder running off the M50 than the M100. Maybe the the M100 is on it's way out? is there a way to test it? As far as the bass cube is concerned, i've tried bypassing it to see if it was the problem but it doesn't s...

how to get the best performance from my system

here's the situation... for a couple of years my boat system consisted of a zx500 running 4 2way 6" speakers (on the wakeboard tower) and an M50 running 2 12" soundsteam spl's. That system rocked and was more than enough for a while. late last summer i came across an M100, a bass cube and ...

So I think this is a stupid question but I'll ask it just in case. Is the "bass" adjustment on my amps (zx500, m100) equivalent to bass boost? If so, should it be reduced to the minimal setting?

I was hoping it would be that easy. I think that's what I'll do. The configuration I gave you sounds complicated but it really isn't, it's super easy. Plus you will have the crossover settings. Your better off "jumping" an RCA from amp to amp. One long one and two short RCA's is all you w...

I would personally run the ZX500 to the subs because of the fan and I believe that it will deliver a little more power to them as well. You could run the LD to the M100 input and use that amps external output to the M50 for both sets of Polks. Right now I have the M100 for the 2 sets of Polks and i...

Then how would the line driver do any of the other amps any good? Does the zx500 have a put 4 volts in get 4 volts out type of thing or 8 volts in it will relay 8 volts out? Are you using a line driver for low voltage? I never really checked the voltage. I had the LD sitting around so I figured I w...

I don't want to use an EQ. I was hoping to find another way to run the LD to all thee amps without getting new gear.

Help with PLD1 install in 3 amp system

Please forgive me if I use the wrong terms, I'm just getting back into the game. Back when I originaly bought my equipment I paid other people lots of $ to set it up. Looking at it now, and with all of the info on this site, I figure it's easy enough to do myself and save some coin. Here is the way ...

Kick ass service

Just got the amp back today. It wasn't even 2 weeks ago that I sent it to PG. Now that's service. I was expecting a C.O.D. to cover the return shipping but PG picked up the tab. I can't imagine any company having better support then PG does.

I thought about that but I'm not sure the M50 would be enough for the 4 speakers outdoors. I know it would be great quality but I need it very loud as well. I have to be able to hear the tunes over the motor while wakeboarding 80' behind the boat. The ZX500 rocked loud and clear and I don't want to ...

I read in a different message that PG doesn't release their schematics. That sucks. It's probably not even worth sending it in to them (PG). Or is it?

zx500 schematic needed

I've been using a zx500 on my boat to run 2 pairs of Polk Audio 6.75" speakers. The sound quality is amazing and they are super loud. I also have an M50 powering a pair of 12" soundstream SPL's. Problem is that I didn't have the zx500 mounted good enough and it came loose. I didn't notice ...
