Go for a RSDC instead they sound great, for a 10" they hit the lows nicely

Yeah, they work MUCH better at 4 ohms. At 2 ohms it only makes them run much hotter and stresses the componentry, without offering any noticeable power increases. Nice! What subs will you be pushing with the 1200.1's?

I have herd JLW6 and Eclipse sw8200 in sealed boxes both sound nice.
The Eclipse sounds cleaner and has louder bottom end but requires a large box. They have the ability to get loud and handle more than their rated power. Last time i checked the sw8200 were bout $300 on ebay last year.

I got my RSD1200.1 today, my first impression of it once out of the box was i wasnt sure if i liked the cosmetics but it is growing on me. hey all, i currently have a tantrum 1200.1 running 2 sw8200 eclipse subs at 2 ohm their rated power is 675wrms each & my girlfriend has 2 rsdc 104 subs which she needs an amp for so i was thinking of lending her the tantrum to run them at 4ohm and perhaps buying a rsd 1200.1 amp to run my eclips...

I use USB with 256/320kb mp3z i cant hear the difference between that and cd's but i have heard a few friends ipod's and the sound quality wasnt that good it really lacked bass below 60hz and the highs were a bit harsh.
