I have my Tideq for sale on ebay.co.uk there is also video footage of it. as far as i know there were 2 revisions, a version 1 chip, and a version 2.2 chip I'd put the basscube just before the sub amp. Its only worth it if you want the exotic quality and want to play with the features. such as setti...

I've heard nothing from PG support, and have had to bite the bullet and buy a whole new componenet set and have it shipped to the uk. I'm putting my eq230 in so have removed the TiDEQ. Thanks for the help guys. If anyone wants to buy a 2 week old TiDEQ that has a disliking for tweeters then let me k...

Is there a device or component i can put 'in line' somewhere to stop this?

Does anyone know what it is, is it a burst of voltage that gets sent down the RCA's?

Could it potentially go back up the RCA to my head unit and damage that?

So, in a nutshell, its fine aslong as you don't try to change settings on it, and you dont change the presets. Man, this things a bargain. I was under the impression and have been for years that this TiDEQ was something really quite special. Now, after having one for only a week, and hearing all the...

I'm seriously considering taking it out and putting my EQ230 in there. If anyone can help me understand why it happens i can maybe prevent it next time. I cant risk it damaging my other equipment. I dont know if i could even sell it as its probably going to damage some other poor guys system. Unless...

nope didnt stop it, as soon as i clicked 'transmit both channels' you could hear a crackling sound in both channels that swept from left to right, it stayed in the right crackling away for about 2 seconds and something went pop. the crackling then disappeared. I could understand if there was ALOT of...

I'm going to be gutted if i have to pay to replace the components myself as you can't get them in the UK and by the time you've waited 2 weeks for them to be delivered from the USA and paid the import fee they suddenly go from $50 as advertised on ebay.com to $200 by the time they arrive at your doo...

What are the chances of them sending me a replacement tweeter?

I'm probably gonna have to buy a replacement out my own pocket arn't i?

I'm worried that it may have damaged something else?, how would i know this?.

Is it a case of if everything works and sounds sort of the same then its ok?

You have to remember that although its 200w, unless its running flat out, its unlikley the speakers will ever see that power as surely you'd turn it down when you hear them struggling to play at VERY high volumes?

I had a similar experience to this in a van. My mate had a nasty 12" $30 sub and a 100wrms amp sat in the back. I had an audiobahn 1100w RMS Eternal and 800w RMS audiobahn amp, and we put it in there to see what it did and it didn't produce anywhere near as much bass as his crap equipment. I wa...

By rumble i mean the ability to hold the lower rumbling note, not the fast hitting punch part of the sound. Does that meake any sense? It is there, just, but it is vastly out of balance with the punch. Where as on the 12" they are the same. rumble and punch are balanced. Its as if theres a cros...

I'll try one VC at a time then. What would i see if the VC's are set in opposition, surely the sub wouldn't move as they'd cancel each other out? I know that as it is if i run the 10" out of phase then the bass increases. Time to test i think. One more thing to point out, with the 10" conn...

I would like to figure it out, so i will try that.

I thought a 10" would sound 95% the same but a lesser volume when compared to a 12".

Is that a good estimate?

Let me stress that it kicks very HARD but the rumble is very shallow on the 10" and it doesnt sound right. The brand new 10" prefab box is 1 cubic foot, all my others varied from far to small, to small, to as PG spec. All throughout this has been my problem, i put the Octane R 12" in ...

10" vs 12" sub problem

I've had nothing but trouble with a RSDc 10" sub since i installed it. Its a 4ohm DVC set up to a 2ohm load for my RSD600.1 amp. I made THREE different boxes for it and it still didn't sound right. It kicked like hell but didnt really rumble at all, it had no depth or authority. I finally gave ...

Have the Ti Elites had there day?

After reading various other topics i get the impression that the RSD line is really good. So good infact that people dont seem to have much to say about the Ti Elites or the Sub anymore. How can a component set of RSD's that are like $80 on ebay be even remotely close to the $1000 Ti elites. And tha...

So when the car is started, is the alternator providing the power for the amps to use or does the battery still have some input?
