PG Ti312D2 or Image Dynamics IDQ12 V.4 D2?
With my 2007 Scion still kicking around, I've decided to install a pared down system in it and the PG Ti3 12" and IDQ 12" both seem like good candidates for a sealed enclosure. Anyone here have any experience with the Ti3? I was surprised to find a lacking amount of info here and online. T...

Re: Message out to all PG employees...
Gotta wonder if AAMP/PG ever got their marketing position filled... I see sporadic posts here and there on Twitter and Instagram, but where's the actual product to be purchased?! Kind of sad when you have to run RSDC subs forever because it's virtually impossible to get anything from the new Elite p...

Re: 2007 Scion Tc Install (Install Gutted, New Stuff For 201
After a few weeks in the car, I finally got around to fine tuning these subs. Going back and forth between the crossover points of 63Hz vs. 80Hz was driving me a little crazy. I was completely surprised that they sounded really good at 80Hz, but I ultimately went with 63Hz at 24db. These subs sound ...

Bought 2 RSDC 12" subs from him, and they showed up in perfect shape. Great guy to deal with, and excellent communication back and forth.

Re: 2007 Scion Tc Install (Install Gutted, New Stuff For 201
I'm quickly realizing that using an iPhone to capture the essence of a stereo system is pointless. It just sounds like distorted farts. I think the next logical step will be to try and get this thing metered.

Those are exactly the same ones. I use them for my home speakers as well, and they're great.

After posting the pics above, I ended up placing the enclosure about 2" closer to the hatch to give the amps some more breathing room. Added benefit is the subs sound even louder than before. Loving this setup.

Re: 2007 Scion Tc Install (Install Gutted, New Stuff For 201
I still can't get over how killer they sound. Another new step for me was having the enclosure built out of birch. Basically, was able to get rid of the Fi Q in its sealed MDF enclosure, go with the two RSDCs in a ported birch enclosure, and shed 12 lbs in the process. Total win-win over here. When ...

Re: 2007 Scion Tc Install (Install Gutted, New Stuff For 201
I got the RSDC 10" subs dropped in today, and just got back from driving around for awhile, testing them out. All I have to say is, holy SHIT. Those 10s are getting .82 cu ft net each and the port is tuned to 35Hz. I still can't get over how accurate and deep they sound. They've only got 1 hour...

That's definitely reassuring.
First time doing ported 10's, and first time in about 15 years having a ported enclosure.

Re: 2007 Scion Tc Install (Install Gutted, New Stuff For 201
Decided to have a vented enclosure made for a couple of RSDC 10's. Went with the SQ recs listed in the manual. .90 cu ft gross per sub seems so small! I hope it ends up sounding alright...

Re: so did pg fall off earth or what?
It's really a shame. With the proper marketing and product support, they really could take a decent percentage of the car audio market. In a lot of ways, AAMP and the level of support they put behind the PG line reminds me a LOT of the job I left last year. Amazing product, really innovative stuff, ...

I also agree with Luke and nightrider ..Depends on the sound your looking for and my 2 favorite subs to date in the correct sealed box is: PG Elite2 (12D4) currently running and is a monster in a 1.3ft^3 box ...low, loud and accurate. Pics of the new setup attached ... IDMAX or IDQ - Both...

Re: 2007 Scion Tc Install (Install Gutted, New Stuff For 201
So, in the process of gutting the rear of my Scion to install some new BC racing coilovers this weekend, I saw the funniest thing... Back in 2009 or so, I bought a TON of eDead from Elemental Designs, using it mostly for the floorboards. I used RAAMat for the front doors and the quarter panels on ei...

Re: -grey ms-2125- I FOUND IT!!!!
I've have a few USPS horror stories... My favorite? I bought a rare $100 record off of e-bay (original pressing of Mission Of Burma: Vs.) and it showed up to me 2 months later in one of those plastic "sorry there was a horrific issue with that thing you've been waiting on forever..." bags....

Re: 2 RSDC 10" Sealed - Does This Sound About Right?
I've got a JL 1200/1v3 which should be a good fit. I used to have a pair of the 12"s years ago in a sealed enclosure, and as much as I loved them, it was just too much weight in the back of my Scion with double-baffle MDF.

2 RSDC 10" Sealed - Does This Sound About Right?
I decided that I need a summer project... Do these dimensions seem about right for running 2 RSDC 10" sealed? I'd like to try my hand at building a 13-ply birch enclosure, that's if I can actually find the stuff around here. I'm putting a TEIN coilover kit on my car, and it'd be nice to reduce ...

Re: 2007 Scion Tc Install (Install Gutted, New Stuff For 201
It's funny you mentioned that, as I actually ordered another FiQ a couple weeks ago (High QTS with a Carbon Fiber Cap), and am going to drop it in the same enclosure that's pictured earlier in this thread. Kind of a road trip sub if you will. I think with 1200 watts, it should sound a bit more defin...
