Nothing will be made in the USA from all the info we've had thus far. No word on processors yet but Morgan already said there would be small footprint amps earlier in this thread.
Small footprint as in full range amps or the usual monoblocks?

PRecise xover control is pretty nice.

I am glad PG seems to have new ownership that seems to want to put PG back on the map however.... Aside from being "new" looks, there is nothing that would make me want to get them because they don't seem to differentiate themselves from others accept with looks it seems (I wont count the ...

Well I have always thought of the mx3i as being the equivalent to a line driver, it does have 8volt RMS outputs a per the litterature.

BAss test yes, but I don't beleive it will destroye it in midbase. But then again destroy is relative.

Have you slaped the drivers in winisd or bassbox ect to see what it looks like or are you just basing your reasoning on the specs? And are you only looking at the xmax as your spec? hehehe.

drivers mentioned in this thread will destroy the rsds in midbass output.
I wouldn't bet on that.

It might be sealed but the volume would make it behave like if it was in an infinite baffle.

Assuming comparing identical drivers but with different xmax ratings, more xmax = more output at lower frequencies, it doesn't "strengthen" all the frequencyes, it only allows it to play lower.

Your driver's low QTS ould suggest it wouldn't do to well in your car doors, unless you plan to build an enclosure for them.

More Xmax will just mean it can go lower, it won't necessarely help out the midbase area.

We all know where everyone stands and that's fine, the nature of the beast. I do want to add something about the psychological aspect of things. One of the problems is that everyone uses their ears as the base of comparisson for different sounding amps (hard to not use your ears right heh). Now the ...

Who originally made hifonics? I didn't get it the first few times there haha. I think that a lot of overseas build houses are just as good as what is or was made in the US. I suppose back in the day there were more original amp designs as compared to the more cookie cutter approach of today. However...

blah blah… Yeah I have to "agree" an old school amp that was rated at 500 watts, costed 1000 but really made 1000 watts because it wasnt rated accurately is much better then current amps that are rated at 1000 and make 1000 but cost 300. Amps that are not rated correctly are definietly be...

Well I understand the RSD line isn't cheep crap, but on the web page they do use the term "value driven line" so my appologies for using the term budget. I have read that they are good, but from this vantage point they are like all the others, no features, nothing special. I can get a chee...
