WTB: M series amps that do not need to be pretty/working

I am making acrylic covers for the M series amps next and I need one of each to test the fit to ensure I have the bends in the right place and at the right angles prior to shipping them. So they do not need to be functional, they do not need to be pretty and they really do not even need the top cove...

Re: anyone looking for replacement MS plexi?

I had some requests for new covers for the old M-series of amps and I thought it could be cool but I needed an acrylic bender. After looking what they go for online I made my own instead. It heats up some nichrome wire(resistance wire) with a 10 amp dc power supply and then allows me to bend it wher...

Re: anyone looking for replacement MS plexi?

I am now making acrylic pieces for the ms1000, ms2250/ms2125/ms2500, ms250/275, mq430 and I think the next project will be to make a system to bend the acrylic so I can make M-series tops

Re: anyone looking for replacement MS plexi?

These end caps look really cool with the new plexi on top. I am considering adding some led strips under the power bars on this one but it seems like a bit much.

anyone looking for replacement MS plexi?

It took some time and help from an old phorum friend but I am now able to offer replacement MS1000 and MS2250 plexi's made on my laser engraver. I will be working on the ms2150 next as well as MS275. It takes a couple of hours on the laser for the 1000 and there were some failures in the learning pr...

one of the shops I use to work at had done a large zero point install in a 300zx that was pretty sweet. They had come/gone before I got to PG at that shop but they always looked like a good time.

Re: new cnc

I THINK I have the 2250/ms1000 plexi designed now. I am going to run a test tonight to compare to mine and see how it comes out if anyone has been wanting a 2250/2150/1000 plexi. It has been tedious work so I have been doing an hour or two here/there so I don't go nuts but I think its ready for anot...

Re: Dammit not again..

sounds like the amp. It sounds like you have had your hands on all the knobs on the amps but if by chance you have not touched one or just want to try, just try sweeping them back/forth through their entire sweep a few times. Sometimes some corrosion develops or some dust gets in just the right plac...

I find social media to be what you make it. For example my instagram is all about cars and I rarely get any political drama/bs on it. Now facebook I keep it a little more open for what people I friend but I still do not friend just anyone. The purge thing does suck, we use to have some great articles.

It started as a hobby but now over time I have managed to find a couple of regular customers as well as picking up some others here/there as people saw some of the stuff I have been making and I think I have basically paid for the cnc r...

new cnc

I decided to expand a little and got a 100W CO2 laser with a 28 x 40" work area. Everyone that saw it had the exact same initial reaction that I did of "OH SHIT!?!". It was the biggest I could fit through the sliding glass doors in the basement with both doors out and only left me a c...

it was a good week

I had a good week and for the first time ever I won a waffle/raffle for a power core that had been upgraded by a certain member here to 66.67 Farads. It works out well because I got these badges a few years ago, the power badge fits perfect and I will make a new one for the bottom now that I have a ...

my cnc has been keeping me happy and busy as well as both earning and spending some of of my cash. I have been considering adding a 100w laser cutter/engraver to the fleet and not sure I would have any left over cash. I enjoy your pics, thanks for sharing.
