not mine, but repairing and testride them is fun as well
classic mercedes cars have been loved through the years in U.S, as most of the cars driving here in holland, are surviving cars from the U.S! I repair and restore them, as long as they are from the 50's and 60's. here's one, [right, down] that is amazing to drive today, [300SL roadster].imagine what...

some ride
looks like a truck to me, that will get you ANYWHERE...!! kind of a big engine in there, doesn't it... with our fuel-prices, you wouldn't want to press the gaspedal down for some fun anymore. I 've got a ford mondeo station, with a 60 litre fueltank, and when I fill her up, it costs about $96.... lu...

aready pg-watches
OK; I didn't know PG had watches already.
this thing can only work when enough people want something that's styled different, for example, or a very exclusive, or just very affordable watch.
just an idea that came to me, we'll see where it goes...

samples
samples will vary to the price. I can show some samples, but it's better first to get an idea of what people evt. want to spend. my wife comes home with samples for free, some as beautiful and robust as a rolex, some good for our kids to play with.... I'll try to get some photo's for you, to see wha...

tuning the system with a laptop..
things HAVE CHANGED over the years.. we used to adjust the equalizer with.. our ears! back then, an analyzer was just not affordable. later when the computer minimized it all, even handheld analyzers were made, so since then, I couldn't resist of buying one.[ I posted a topic about the thing.]. NICE...

handheld analyzer
I'm using a PHONIC PAA2 analyzer for some years now, to play with setups, filters etc. If you want/need such a device I can recommend it. it's battery powered, comes with a powersupply, c.d with software to link it to your computer [also contains lots of test-signals], cable to do so,good manual, xl...

phoenix gold watches
my wife workes at a company that makes watches. as I'm a PG-fan, I thought about having a nice PG watch. all logo-styles, colours, you name it ,are optional. if there are more people who would like a PG watch, it becomes interesting to have them made. A colour, logo, and appearance should be discuss...

m100 or ms2125?
what would have your preference, if they cost the same; m100, or a ms2125? and why.. power-ratings are a bit comparable, but appearence is very different. also no filter in the ms. I'm a ms-lover, but get offered m-series as well over here. are they worth to collect as well as the ms-series.. give y...
battery dead
forgot; those battery's don't like to see charging voltage under 14 volts. charging goes best between 14- 15 volts. check this with motor running and multimeter connected directly on the poles of the battery. if voltage is high enough, have the amps checked, that your alternator delivers with a clam...
battery dead
the most common problem of a battery-problem like this, is a broken diode in the alternator. the alternator is constantly connected to the battery, and if a component fails [mostly a diode], it will constantly draw some current from your battery. I would suggest, since you have a multimeter, to chec...

capacitors for ms2125
wanted to share a pic, after changing the caps in one of my ms2125's. Original [as you probably all know], they are 2200mfd, and tend to leak and are likely to fail, or catch fire. I've changed them, with advice of dr. fosgate [eric]. These new ones have a capacity of 6800, but that should make no d...

who knows about this ms2125???
I've got a ms2125, that's like new.
I've had 9 of those, but this one is the only one, with a long, narrow section cut out of the front end piece [pic]. it's the black section on the photo.
who knows what it's for? [cooling, put, fan-wires tru, or what?].
solve this mistery for me please!
nico.

dented dustcap
we used to take the smallest [and thinnest] needle we could find, heat is, bend it, and like a surgeon does, carefully bend it inside the dustcap, at precisely the center of the dent, then gently pull. works fine with most materials. the hole in a paper cone, can be filled by a very tiny drop of woo...

two members of the" boomcarclub bollenstreek."
here's something two of my friends build; leffert and arthur took a fiat panda; one of the smallest cars you can buy, and then... poured in a concrete floor, fitted a 5cm. thick, braced front windsheeld, bolted the doors down, and fitted it with.. 28 X 10"WOOFERS, AND 14 AMPS, 7X 2 VOLTS BATTER...

Hi guys, I'm a classic mercedes restorer,[50's-60's] and could show you what mercedes had for stock stereo in those days, but I guess you'll be falling of your chairs from laughing if you see those [tube] radio's and alnico broadbandspeakers [papercones], who had the driver looking for his radiostat...

And this is when things started to go down-the-hill [for my savings]. building a drive-in disco, I was able to play my music LOUD, and even got payed for it, instead of getting an angry neighbour at the door... left-up; an experiment ,that was doomed to fail; push-pull systems don't deliver more output, just the box can be made smaller; but I wanted more output! left-down; silence before the storm.. a show just before opening, a few minutes later we couldn't get to our cars because of the crowd. right-up; ...

old pics, for new ideas?
hi; i promissed Tom to post some pics here from the days when we had to invent almost everything ourselves [80-90's]. you guys, nowadays, have all the info you need, you can find it on internet, speak to pro's, read forums... knowledge about how things should be done is everywhere! O.K, there still ...
