Re: My zpa 0.3 and 0.5
Sweet amp indeed! IMO it would be worth more $ if the caps were changed, but only to someone who does not know how to change them or don't know somebody that can do the work. A lot of guys here including myself do the work to our own gear. Unless its major then I send it to Tricky!

Great info right here ^^^! But sad at the same time Car Audio will never be the same as it was back years ago!
Re: RMD ?
My thought was hard wire it in to the system off of the main relay. That way it will turn off also. I am just not sure which color will go where to make it work correct.
RMD ?
I picked 1 up for my truck and after reading some older posts, it will not work with my ZBB34TI. MY Bad! Is it possible to hard wire the unit in and if so what are the color codes? Thanks Fellas!

Re: Line level input connectors!
I agree with Bfowler most newer stock systems will limit your bass! This unit should work good for what you are doing. If you were doing a total upgrade I would check into the Audison line. Best of luck!

WOW! That's kind of odd. Rail caps don't normally fail like that! Bet your glad you checked them before giving up on it!

Re: Center channel amp opinions.
Did your truck have a stock external amp? I kept mine in the stock location to power the center channel and stock sub. I then used the Audison to adjust volume levels from there, it sounds great.

Re: Stickers, Logos, and Emblems
I think our resident powder coater has the end caps for a couple of amps digitized already and has a special technique to lay them out over his fresh powder and then clear over it for a nearly identical look to the stock caps. Not sure the material he uses but it doesn't stick up like vinyl does. h...

Re: Todays subs
Well I finished the install this past weekend, I went with the JL Powered with the MPS2500. Holy Shit it hits hard, not that boomy bass its that punch you in the gut type of bass! I put in Tom Sawyer by Rush I had to back the 2500 way down. Only running at a 1/4 on the gain!

Re: Todays subs
Id make sure u run the shallow type r at 4ohm load, unless u run 2 subs then a 2ohm load, a single at 2 ohm would be killed on that amp My thought were to back it way down. I am thinking either the R type or a JL 10TW3 (Prefer the JL) it should make the amp run barely off idle and nice and cool! Am...

Re: Todays subs
The SI BM was lame, installed a pair of them in a 4dr F150 & they left a lot to be desired considering the hype online & hefty price tag. I would second the shallow Alpine's if you have to run a shallow sub. Good to know! I had a type S alpine in my last truck that did very well. I guess ma...

Todays subs
What is your thoughts on todays subs? I am looking to do a single shallow mount 10 in my truck, I have about .6 cubic feet of space in the box. Will it really matter if I go with single or dual voice coils. 4ohm final would be best if possible. (Thinking of using my M-100) What would be the preferre...
MPS 2220?
How well do you think this amp will do pushing a 8in Kicker shallow mount sub at 2 ohm load? I am not a Bass head I just am looking for a bit more out of the stock system. 2015 F-250 with Premium Sony with Nav. Thanks Fellas!
