Re: My new amp repair project Harman Kardon CA5250

I've never seen one of those. I wonder if that's an infinity or JBL? Harman owns both of those other companies. They were sold 2010-2012 in Norway then Harman Kardon stopped making them now they make oem stereo for BMW etc, they sound good for a 5 channel amp i see it got high scores when it was te...

Re: My zpa 0.3 and 0.5

Great job. I wish you lived closer, I'd buy it from you. Not willing or able to pay for the shipping though. If you use it you'll be very happy. ;) For a second there I thought you had the off-road amp, the way you had those Tis paired up. That collection is growing very nicely, like a true addict ...

Re: running 4 batteries and a POWERGRID???

first thing to notice, it is not so easy to put a HO alternator in a car in europe like people can do it in the USA...... with for example german cars (bmw/ volkswagen/audi) only the stock alt of 140a is what you have..... replacements there are not....(at least not in europe)....even adding a simu...

Re: Reconditioning ZX600TI & ZX400TI, need more help.

I will see if i can get the transistors that have sillypad on them but first ...

Re: Reconditioning ZX600TI & ZX400TI, need more help.

did you discharge the cap outside of the circuit or was it still connected? Outside of the circuit in your hands is fine but on the board could cuase a problem. I think it shorted in the circuit but i cant remember it, when i were going to remove the caps it shorted i now use a resistor to empty th...

Re: Need help finding a cheap Handheld Digital Oscilloscope

Just remember all scopes have a limit on voltage. The probes have 10x attenuator so you can check out high voltage...carefully of course. Another tip would be that some amplifiers don't like when you probe the bridged terminals....So what I would do is ground the scope probe to the non-bridging ter...
