I always thought the rsd 1200.1 would do around 1200-13xx in 2 ohm. From what I have read 1 - 1.25 cf is the idea for a 12" rsdc. This is for 2 subs right? Not sure if these formulas are correct, but at 775 w @ 4ohms = 55.67 volts. 1200w @ 2ohms = 48.98 volts. Are these brand new subs? Have you...

Hey soth, How do you like your cd1e horns. Hey waynehead, I like them very much. They are full bodies, but if I had the cash I would grab some cd1pro full bodies though. You DO need at least a 15 band eq to get the best out of the horns though, but they are impressive to say the least. They don't n...

Man, whats up now, is ID going into the amp business?? I think they should stick with what they do best and that is horns and speakers. I've heard a lot of people dropping them now though because ID doesn't want them to seel lower than the msrp. Not sure what's up with that. RSD amps are pretty dam ...

If I were in your situation then I would probably look at these two subs. RSDc 10 IDQ 10 Both have a very small enclosure for a sealed box. Here are two links to both pdf files. http://www.imagedynamicsusa.com/pdf/IDQ10%20D2%20V2.pdf http://download.phoenixphorum.com/Manuals/Speakers/RSD/RSdC%20subw...

ID sub has a little more power (spl) than the IDQ and not as good in the sound quality department. The IDQ is a better SQ sub.

Supposedly over at the IASCA forums the JL 10w6 and IDQ10 is very SQ oriented. Not heard the 10w6's, but i've heard the 12w7 and 13w7 though. For bass head junkies those two are insane, but I wasn't very impressed with overall SQ though.

I'm looking toward the 10 rsdc and IDQ10 also.

Gotta agree here. Place it close to the HU as possible, just a standard usually. You want the LD shooting those volts down the rca's as hard as possible since you've got a long stretch of rca's. They will lose volts as the cables are longer. Yeah, the MS/MPS are rated for 2 volts. My Input sensitivi...

Line drives pros. - Mount near HU as close as possible. - Test with a dynamic track until it starts clipping then back off a bit. - Amplifier doesn't need the input sensitivity (gain) turned up as much when you are using one thus preserving the life of the amp. Amp doesn't have to work as hard. Here...

I've not heard the rsd line or anything lately from PG, but PG used to "lack" in this department in several years back compared to the ones I listed above. Bang for the buck, the RSD comps are amazing. They could use a new flagship speaker, but for 95% of people, I would say RSDs are more...

I used 8600uf 16v nichicon in my 2125. The Ti's just snap in I believe which are a lot easier to replace. Not sure on the ZPAs though.

^ Ahh, ok. Here is a good link that shows a simple fiberglass enclosure. http://phoenixphorum.com/simple-fiberglass-enclosure-vt437.html I usually put some aluminum foil on the kick panel area then blue painters tape. There I would apply some chop mat on the first layer along with resin. Keep buildi...

Just say no to the dash... Then where do I put them? Picture in your head my van or any van. Where would you put them? Wow, yeah 4 of those bad boys are going to pound. As far as overbuilding goes, I'd say go for it. More bracing the better no doubt. Did you say you were going to put them in seperate chambers? As for ports goes, what does PG recommend, slot or round? What hz are you going to tune it at also? That is...

Oh man KH, indeed the HU will make a difference, but yeah, when you get a good pair of components you'll be happy i'm sure. I was very happy when I went from components to HLCD's and a dedicated midbass driver. Nothing wrong with just having x9's, but once you hear a very good sq oriented system the...

If you're looking for eclipse then you should be able to get a good deal on ebay for sure. Some models I would buy. cd-7000 cd-8455 cd-7100 cd-5000 cd-5100 Those seem like the models that would be my type and lately I have been eyeing the 7200 mkll , its a dead head and I ahave a few amps that coul...
