Re: Who needs a bass cube knob?
That's the price range I'm hoping for. I think it's going to come down to how much the etched boards are. And let me know when your ready for a bracket tricky.

Re: Who needs a bass cube knob?
Ohh I'm hoping no more than $50. Depends on parts though. Or how custom you want the mount. I want to make a 3 knob mount to include an lpl and 3 blue LEDs. Carbon fiber water transfer to match my octane. That custom might be expensive. I'm hoping a basic one is affordable to help everyone out.

Who needs a bass cube knob?
I've been looking for a knob with little luck myself. I'm thinking for making one and see that there is a need for them. Just curious who out there would want one if I went into production of repro knobs and what people might want to pay for one to see if it is a cost efficient option. I can make al...

Re: Reactor terminals in white?
Good point. I'm not sure but the coating is coming off both sides. I'm replacing the caps now and don't see any bad traces. I don't know the history on this one maybe something spilled on it.

Re: Interior square footage...
Just span the braces. Not a lot of support up there. And check the screws about once a month. Hate to have vibrations back a screw out and the amp fall.

Re: Interior square footage...
Are you talking the rear hatch. If so the window control brain is in there and not much room. Wire running through the boots would be a nightmare. I broke a RCA just trying to get my backup camera in the boot. And I wouldn't recommend it because of undue stress you would put on your amp every time y...

Re: Interior square footage...
What year 4-runner? I just sold my 98. I had hertz 6" hi-energy speakers in my door. Spaced the window track back and built a spacer ring. Tight fit but tons of mid bass. Not sure on the fan thing. I usually use a small squirrel cage fan and use the remote turn on with a relay. That way if the ...

Re: Factory refurbished octane?
Already has chipped a little. But I got it for $350 with the cap but without the cube knob. More worried about the caps before I run it though. Thing is so sexy I'd almost hang it on my wall, but she needs to run baby run.

Factory refurbished octane?
Did they make refurbs? And it has the 2200uF caps in it. Do they need replaced like my reactor? And will the second amp work without the bass cube knob plugged in? Thanks for the help.

Re: Reactor terminals in white?
Cool. Just what I needed to know. Once I get it up and running I'll make sue I don't sell it as a legit reactor if someone wants it. Just a zx 450 and 500 in a neat mount.

Re: Reactor terminals in white?
Got some pics. As far as the amp being free. I have been installing car audio for 18 yrs. done a lot of friends cars cheap so when they have something I want it's usually cheap or free. Back scratching thing. Thanks for the help. I have ordered 10000uf caps for it. Might have caught it on fire if no...

Re: Reactor terminals in white?
Yea its basically a spare. But if I can get it up and running I might build a custom cover and use it in my 66 mustang. The only part I find wierd is that the serial tags are stuck on really good and dont look tampered with. Maybe a factory warraty swap. Oh well if it works it works.

Re: Reactor terminals in white?
Yea I thought maybe someone had dead one and didn't need it anymore. And the amp still has the reactor serial number stickers on it and they look untouched. I think more reaserch is needed.

Reactor terminals in white?
New to forums but I have a question. I've had reactor #222 for a while now and it is all black under the cover. I recently got reactor #394 In bad shape but it was free. My question is that the power and speaker connections on both sides are white. Did they use both black and white zx450 and 500's w...
