Yes and no. And analog channel is 6 mhz wide, and would only have one video and its audio signal. Depending on your compression, you can get as many as 12 digital channels or up to 3 HD channels in the same space as 1 analog channel. That was one reason, the main reason for Comcast, the other was th...

What program did you create your resume' with? I think Yahoo's limit is a Mb or 2. I can't believe it would not send 36kb. Did you add it as an attachment?

Actually ttocs, it was a push to the digital format that I believe you are refering to. And in a way, no it was not a marketing tool. And it was a move on cable companies directly. The true reason for it was the concern for Air traffic radio frequencies. In a perfect world the older Analog signal wo...

Great idea Brian! Though I believe you would have to start with a big chassis/footprint, even if you start with the small power. Would be fun to design the idea, even if just on paper/computer.

I agree completely. Plus, since I can only have so many hobbies before the wife shuts me down, I have to spend my "Allowance" as she calls it very thoughtfully! LOL

No worries KG, spend your money on what you want to. I was just stating that by the time you can fully use those TV's, the current models will make the old ones look bad. But that is the way I think, and as I said I work in the industry so my perspective will be a little more "pessimistic"...

I don't see the sense in the 3D TV's as of yet. Working in the industry I highly doubt it will go from digital straight to 3D. HD is still being phased in, and I know you will only have a few programs in 3D. I would buy the Samsung 55" LED TV or an HD projector long before a 3D TV. The programm...

I just hope that this everything is easy just fades away..... I love the older amps because they were different and weren't always logical. Look at all the amps today..... easy, cheap, and all from China. You guys press the easy button and I will keep working on my old 70 runner with MS amps. LMAO. ...

I guess we all have to complain about something. I grew up with the standard and it works... one says 1/2" and one says 13mm... it all loosens and tightens the same. Just like whats the difference between a 223 and a 5.56? Nothing, they still shoot the same. Just my thought.

Did you all know, that way back during the Def Leppard days, 87 or 88, when they where recording Hysteria, that all the rhythm sections you actually heard where all recorded as notes? Then combined into the actual chord! There was over 250 tracks per song, just for the guitar sections! How many kids...

I think the only reason I don't like it is because I am a Cowboys fan and it reminds me of the crappy 49'ers! :D

Its actually not to bad. Maybe with gold silk screening it would look better.
