^^^^What Art stated ...also look for any metal touching metal (speaker wire, power / grnd wire) causing a grounded short ...start from the battery and work your way back to the head unit. It's a pain in the ass, but will force you to double check all connections.

^^^^Exactly ...gonna do the same thing to my TI2 1000.4 and 1300.1 ...I have a reel of the white and the blue smd 3528 led's ...will try both, but agree with Art as the white adds a nice offset and the blue pcb doesn't hurt either.

I've ran the Elite's and love them, but as stated they have a huge foot print . I would either run the old-skool TI line or the Zapco DC series amps ...sound quality and output power are tits on both.

Here's another option ...CDT 8" sub, sounds phenominal and has a pretty shallow depth or you can run a pair of the 6.5" M6+'s. :shock: Have ran both and you'd be amazed at the output for small drivers :clap: . Included links to what may work, but you know what ya need for your install, so ...
