Re: The rarest of the rare
I have never known any company to hand out their schematics to anyone that wanted them no matter if they were still making the gear or not. Authorized repair places maybe but not to any tom, dick or harry that asked. Sure there was a project manager but at that time when the company was being sold ...

Re: The rarest of the rare
I had my hands on one x-station (I never owned it, just baby sat it) but it was just a case. I brought it to Steve Mantz to see if he could actually make a working board for it but he didn’t even want to see it when I told him the origins. I wasn’t aware of an actual working one. I do think I’ve he...

Re: momstang rebuild begins.
yea it had been a while. Back in oct I thought I was at the point that it was almost ready to get on the road when suddenly it stopped starting. I checked a couple of little things, it looked like the plugs were fouled again(3rd time) and I still have no idea why. I had to walk away because the ide...

Re: Bourns Pots for ti500.4
The one in the picture is correct. I replied to your fb post, but the part numbers you posted there came up as a different style. I'm not sure now if my input got auto corrected, it what happened, but anyhow, I posted the part numbers there. You but then in single gang and just install as many as y...

Re: ZX475ti hum with car off
Made a mistake. I looked at the cover...its actually a ti500.4 which I thought was almost the same as the zx475ti. And for the caps they are Nichicon. I didn't see anything visually wrong inside either. I tried to isolate and noticed the hum came from the Left. I also played around with the crossov...

Re: ZX475ti hum with car off
I wanted to get some feedback on my hum issue on my ZX475ti. Its installed in a 2007 BMW 328i. It hums.... with car off with car running with RCA inputs disconnected through all 4 speakers Its been sitting for a while. I worked the static and popping out of the cross over pots. I even noticed my ha...

Re: Remote for old school Phoenix Gold Bass Cube
I recently bought a bass cube from a seller on eBay. It was advertised with a remote but I didn’t receive one in the package. The seller pulled a fast one on me. Where can I get a remote? The unit is useless without it. Thanks Search on the forums, i think one of the guys makes them. Sent from my S...

Re: momstang rebuild begins.
I need to figure that out for sure because my thought was that with out the pump or anything else there that its no wonder the return drains back but the same guy that helped me figure out that is was a fuel problem said to put it after the pump. Good to know. Hope the regulator doesnt bypass to ze...

Re: momstang rebuild begins.
it seems a little strange as the gauges all showed that it still had 43 psi while cranking so I am not sure how it was able to do that with air in the line. I don't like feeling like I am in a diesel waiting for the glow plugs to heat up so I ordered a check valve that I think I can just slide in b...

Re: momstang rebuild begins.
no big updates as I have been chasing a gremlin for a while now. I was having issues with it starting after it sat for a while where it would take 4-5 LONG cranks before it would fire. I thought the battery was a little small and the voltage dipping more then I liked so I installed a new battery an...

Re: anyone ever built a dual opposing woofer box?
Good point. You could always build it and wire it both ways, if one is firing into the box and one is firing out, the only difference in phase is the physical difference in distance between the subs eminating the two waves. Which shouldnt be noticeable at that close of a distance. Sent from my SM-G9...

180 degrees out?
You could wire them out of phase to eliminate cancellation
