Ha, I noticed that a few years ago, and asked the same question here. I was always told to never mount upside down.
PG amps were the first amps I had ever seen done upside down with plexy.

Re: so did pg fall off earth or what?
I am wondering what's up as well. I've called for service a couple times. Sometimes it takes days to hear back or not at all.

Re: system hiss
Try a different source like an iPod to rule out the h/u.
Do you have another amp to try.
Try to figure out the source of the noise.
Maybe Scott would be good help here.

Ti21600.5
Once the end plates are off. the plexy with the side caps will just wiggle loose. Then just unplug the led cable and done.

Re: Ti21600.5
The plexy was a bit hard to just slide out. I popped off the side caps and just unploughed the the led lead connection that goes to the main board.

Re: Ti21600.5
It's a very easy amp to open up. Just make sure those screws are insulated or they will short out on the heat sink

Ti21600.5
I did notice that as well and I spread mine out a bit. Also a bit of advice if your going to open the ti21600.5. "Be carefull taking off the plexy. The led board is attached to the plexy. the board has two small screws that mount the led board to the plexy, but only have a shitty little cardboa...

Re: Almost ready
I was thinking of a layer of deadener, then use a super strong double sided sticky tape to install a few strips of flat steel. Then two more layers of deadened.
This was a recommendation I had a couple days ago. I think it might work.

Re: Almost ready
I know. It's annoying as f$&k. I've been working on finding a solution, and have an idea I think will work well. I have to check the rule book though. I'm not sure how much I'm allowed to do without being put in a higher class. Right now I'm in super street 5+. I do not want to compete with guys...

Re: rf t1 12 or pg ti12 elite
Yes I did have a couple bad subs right out of the box. But now that I have everything sorted out. I have zero complaints. At 34 hz my setup sounds pretty clean and the lows are insane. At 44-56hz it hurts. I prefer sq, but we don't have any sq comps here that I'm aware of. So I'm doing spl just for ...

Re: Almost ready
Scott do you have any ideas how I can stiffen up my roof?
I have not installed deadened yet. I have lots and Mike is giving me more. But I don't think even three layers will make much of difference. What do you think?

Being class d I doubt it will get warm enough to be any problem. But as you said I've not owned one. But even my rsd amps only just got warm never hot after hrs of play.

Re: Almost ready
Thanks Scott, but it really has been a struggle. I know the equipment is capable. But I've had quite a struggle to get to that 150 mark.
I don't know what it is but 147 I can do all no problem. After that it's always been a pain in the ass.
Maybe I loose pressure due to my roof just flexing so bad?

Re: Almost ready
I know these are off from term lab. But I have re calibrated the unit with a term lab score and I know I'm about 3-5db out. So based on a rough idea, I'm fairly confident I can do a 150 on the 22nd and 23rd. I hope.

Re: Almost ready
So far so good, very happy this year. I'm still not sure what I did last year. I had problems getting power, and amps shutting down. For whatever reason I'm not having the problem now. I tried to take a video today. But it did not work well. I'll try again tomorrow. But I did pretty good numbers tod...
