The best way to tell wich way a fan is going is to use a peice of paper. Just "feeling" the air with your hand is deceiving.

I have not been able to figure out till that post if you were cooling your pc or your amp to tell you the truth, I think we were all confused... OK the original question is about the fans in the amps. The ZX, Ti and ZPA's. These all blow air into the amp for cooling. I want to know if it wou...

Ok guys thankx for the critisizm on my polish computer fans, I was originaly asking if anyone had any experiences reversing the fans to obtain better cooling in their amps. Thats all I was asking. Too many people here are out to try and prove wrong with something that doesn't matter or apply to the ...

Amp cooling fan airflow direction

I've noticed all PG amp fans draw air into the amp, has anyone tryed reversing the air flow so the hot air is forced out? I know in the computer world fans blow the hot air out sucking air through the heatsink rather then blowing air into the sink. This works alot better for disapating heat. Any opp...

Thriller is one of the songs I use to show off my car audio system since my first PG setup 16 years ago! That track is recorded so clear you can crank the volume and surprise the hell outta people! I was merely using the firewall hole as a most probable scenario, cuz there is a lot of people out there only drilling a hole and pushing the wire through with no grommet, I have seen this too much coming from some "pro" installers too. (cuttin corners to save a cent!) There are many other...

This is right from the pages of my Kinetik power cell manual. This is pretty simple really, if your power wire shorts through the firewall your main battery will be saved by the fuse in the front, without a fuse at the rear, the rear battery will become a swollen smoldering melted mess! Try hooking ...

right on!!! :hurr: you'll love it!!! I highly suggest to get some kind of pre-amp, it gives so much flexability. ah, you should get an OUTLAW pre-amp!! I almost got an outlaw 990 but went Rotel instead. Getting an OUTLAW to go with the Outlaw and Bandit would only make too much sence!!

The 900.7 came from a PG warranty guy so it's been all serviced. so it's all good there. I'm not running any xovers in the amp my preamp takes care...

Nope, wouldn't be a PG amp rack, I'm running a Kinetik 80amp power supply/charger along with a Kinetik HC1800 Battery. I could have dumped as much money into a matching Rotel 7 ch amp instead... Thred jacker! lol, thats awesome, make the cover roll up like a bread box! The vinyl is a lot like working with carpet applying it, but it is a lot trickier. Vinyl shows every imperection underneath it, carpet hides everything!
