Re: 99 528i - Ti5 Elite frontstage tweeter substitute?
i know every one is saying not to do it and all but they don't have a car like yours, a more open tweeter like those scan's may help things out. i have an older mercedes that is kinda big and open and it respond's better with an open tweeter to fill up that space. experimentation is key in achieving...

Re: HORNS!
yea i mainly like the phoenix amps that can hurt my ear's before they distort, it's not that i listen to them at that level for long periods of time. its just that i like to listen to undistorted power, but yea i can see that those horn's could get insainly loud real fast.

when i was a bouncer at a club, on goth night the chick that was the D.J invited me into the sound both, she said i could chose some songs to play so i did that. but i also started tweaking the eq, i pulled some out of the very low frequency's to stop the subs from bottoming and also tuned the harsh...

whats funny is it say's to replace that 100 year old receptacle with this one, but never mention's replacing that 100 year old cotton and paper wraped 'small gauge fire hazard' wire with some modern wire. i guess they think their receptacle can transform the property's of the wire in the wall, i say...

Re: Good Cheap Wire?
say if you do decide on running @ 2 gauge power wire and you find a situation where you need a similar size ground like for a 'grounding block','big capacitor', or extra battery. you could then double up the 6 gauge wire, and the gauge size would effectively become a 3 gauge size wire. that's one si...

Easy there, the amp is not for sale............... :) Dang dude and at first you were asking if you should buy the amp at the low price of $350, i would have ripped my pocket off just trying to get the money out. but now you don't want to take over 3 times what you paid for it the irony of it all. ...

Re: RSDC 10 Box Size
since your working with a small enclosure you want to start with around 1/2 lb of polyfill and then add maybe a handful at a time until things start to rattle at that point you remove some. when things start to rattle that means the polyfill effect becomes opposite and starts to take up too much air...

Re: ti 600.2 no lights turn on. only fan comes on.
if you have access to a voltmeter you could put the leads on the speaker terminals and see if there is any voltage present with the signal from your rca's still goining in the amp. it's kinda a shot in the dark until you can give us some numbers to go by.

Re: How to Drive my Ti 9s?
i think if you start changing thing's up too much you will run into alot of road blocks along the way, and as much as i like the old school amps putting them on some of the most power hungry speakers is not going to help things out. yes during their era the MS were untouchable but the speakers back ...

Re: RSDC 10 Box Size
bracing a box that has already been built doesn't allow for some of the more elaborate bracing techniques, but you can do corner braces and cross braces but with cross braces you need to make sure they dont contact the magnet. this DIY shows a few bracing techniques http://www.diyaudioandvideo.com/F...

Re: How to Drive my Ti 9s?
if you could send the 430 the frequency's below the ti5's from the roadster you could use an f mod for the low frequency's and signal loss wont be a big deal. the reason i think this is the roadster handles more signal voltage than the 430, so the very minor signal loss should'nt effect anything. th...
