Re: The absolutely best way to start summer crusin season...
I repaired the car already and it´s up´n running again. Since it´s missing a little paint under the hood now i also installed the OEM hood insulation again. We have a big F&F6 party at our local cinema on thursday the 23rd. They asked me to come but since i still need to finish the hood mood and...

Re: Phoenix Gold Bass Cube
That adds one more reason why i´m not going to order at mandrops anymore. They used to be a great vendor for valuable gear until about 5 to 6 years ago. I even ended up 5m short of the zeropoint cable i ordered when i did the group buy for regulars on here, only getting the answer that their stock n...

...complete failure. I´m glad i decided against hooking it up prior to replacing the caps. This is an amp that Matt bought for me from a pawnshop that had it listed on craigslist. Once finished this will be my MS2250 Nickel backup amp.

Re: SO ... What's the real "power" coming from the MS2125?
It will do 500+ watts RMS all day long bridged @4ohm and sound very respectable doing it. With some extra cooling and proper electrical supply you can go bridgeg @2ohm and get 1kW peaks. These amps need to be serviced before installing them. The power supply caps leak if they haven't been replaced ...

During the last weekend some work has been done on my car. The enclosure for the cyclones is done only missing the carpet and all the signal processors are hidden in the left side compartment of the trunk. 8) The right side will house everything regarding the power supply. http://imageshack.us/a/img...

I used to use my XRV14 with a MS2125. Was a nice and simple dayli beater system for almost 4 years. My guess will be that the MS275 is a little small to run all them speakers.

Re: The absolutely best way to start summer crusin season...
I took myself some time to dig deeper into the problem and why the carb cought fire. What cought my attention was that the fire only spread arround the rear outer carb. That´s unusual for a six packk setup. Usally the center carb catches fire in case of a backfiring cylinder. I started the car again...

I blasted the housings and repainted them with graphit paint. Once that dried up i applied diamond effect paint. That kind of paint has some sort of flakes in it. Then a layer of clearcoat and they were done.AVICJR wrote:Blocks look killer, what color are they? PC'ed or painted.........great install!!
