Vacum works great, if you're nervous about that try a straw and you suck on it, much less sucky-sucky power.

Hey guys, yes the main reason I'm going with this one is depth. There's not a whole lotta room back there if you want to keep the sub from hitting the grill. I need the hatch space so the OEM bodywork needs to stay as is. I wanted something like a W3 but its too deep, the sub would need to be mounte...

Which one of these Ebay sellers would you trust the most ?

First off hi everyone, its been a good year since I've posted here. We had a baby boy and he's kept us very busy. Life is good (great) , just not as much time to play with the toys. Anyway, I'm back to put a simple sub enclosure into my Forester. One of the guys on the board was building prefab boxe...

Thanks for the votes guys ! voted! haha, it actually looks like your suspension is a little soft in that picture! That was my first non-OEM setup. Ironically that's STI suspension with JDM Pink springs off the Japan only Spec-C STi. The ride was firm but in hard corners you could still make it lean ...

VOTE for me - Help me win a contest !!

Hey guys, help me win a set of coilovers. One of the vendors on NASIOC is running a contest to give away a set of coilovers to a member who is involved in motorsport. The only requirement is that person needs to provide pictures and feedback of their experience with the product, not a problem for me...

That was news to me as well. They make a ton of OEM for Toyota etc so I'm surpised to hear they would pull out of the industry. As for the Kenwood I have the DNX5140, coming from an Alpine 9815 the sound is not as crisp but its still very good. I have heard the Pioneers tend to have a lot of system ...

^^ So long as the maps are made by another company you'll be fine. Kenwood for example uses Garmin maps so even if they went belly up today, Garmin will still pump out upgrades of its maps. I really wanted to get the Eclipse nav but decided not to as as I heard too many negative comments about the n...

Why on earth didn't you buy the 6290 that was on sale for $799 ? That was the hella steal of this boxing day. The one you picked is still decent solid gear. I went Denon last year from Yam and bought the 899. I didn't even see the 6290. If it was $799 then it would have been a no-brainer Aside from...

What 10 inch sub do you recommend to match this setup ?

Going into the Forester using the factory location of teh stock 6x9 in the rear 1/4 panel. Will be sealed as best as is possible. Currently I have a CDT 8 inch in there and I'm less than impressed with bass response. It sounds like a 6 inch mid and when the power is turned up it distorts rather easi...

When I moved to BC I kept my ONT plates. I figured I'd give it 6 months to see if I wanted to stay and the plan was if stopped.... to say I just moved in. Saved a whole PITA when I came back a year later.

I'll say good luck with that one. You've got a rare early 90's amp and its goig to be hard to find those parts. Orion made a bridging module, for their GS series I believe, maybe that would work (even that will be hard to track down).
