Re: How to do nice wire routing?
forgeot to write, my ground on that car is going from the back seat belt screw in the side, when you make appropriate grounding (the big 3) all the car grounding is good 100 procent, and then i can be shure that amps will be performing with no problems.

Re: active or passive
Well in my opinion active system is ok, when you have evrything tried and find the best places for speakers. You can have focal utopia, but some who has a cheaper audio install but better speker places, more knolege, he will perform better. But when you build passive system, and again, find the best...

Re: Adjusting amplifier
you need to read a lot of diymobileaufio forums, you will find everything there...or if you dont want to do this, tha just go to local audio shop, where they do that, they will adjust gains on the amps and lpf and hpf on the cd player and other functions.

Anyway sealed box is a type of box i would be using in quality setup. vented box can reproduce low bass, but it is not so fast, an...

what you mentioned with metal plate would do great i think. use about 6 metal screws symmetrically to screw it on to door metal and put some hermetic betwen metal ring and door metal would do fine

Re: What amp should i use?
you can take a picture and post here. for my car i had to cut all the unnecessary plastic to mount the ring from mdf on the metal surface and its possible to make your own custom grills. definitely some angle about 25 to 30 degree to midwoofer would be better to listener, you win more low frequencie...
