Re: The Almost Finished Blazer PG Build
I really like them. They look so clean with the smoked plexi. They have plenty of power too. The 1000.4 has a tiny footprint so you will enjoy that aspect of that amp too.

Re: The Almost Finished Blazer PG Build
my only concern would be the amps getting enough air to stay cool and out of thermal protection. Hopefully you have a fan or two in there to move air or a semi hot day and a long day of playing and I am afraid they will shut off on you. Right on! I think I will invest in one or two of those crossfl...

Bought some rsd comps from him. Overall a good transaction. Packaged well and would do business again. Thanks!

I also bought a PG Ti Elite from Justin. Excellent communication and he even did a video of the sub showing overall condition and that the LED lights worked. Perfect transaction! Thanks again!

Re: PG Subs - do they lean toward SQ or SPL?
Yup, that's the guy. Glad to hear that...I was tempted to run the JL due to perfirmanc, but just didn't want the same sub everyone else has. Exactly! I hate having the same stuff as everyone else! Not too many people have Phoenix gold around here. Or Boston acoustics for that matter. You should get...

Re: PG Subs - do they lean toward SQ or SPL?
That dude out in Monticello? I saw all the brand new stuff he had. Tons of stuff just sitting around lol. Good prices too! I like g5s. I have had a couple. Very similar to the jl w6v2 with slightly more output.

Re: PG Subs - do they lean toward SQ or SPL?
Really depends on the application, but I think they lean more towards sq. Every PG sub sounds different, and they have a few different lines. The Ti Elite line would compare to JL Audio's W7. The W7 and Ti Elite sound completely different, but they are in the same class of big sql style subs. The PG...

Re: 3 PG rsd 10's?
i installed a ton of rsd10's. i dont think they will give you the sound you are after. they are super musical, fast and punchy, but not very low or loud. ive installed them in as little as .3cf and the sounded ok, but they sound sloppy in anything bigger than about .8cf. for the price the guy on eb...

Yep, I'm currently running it on a custom 10" I built at 1 ohm. Rocks the block!

3 PG rsd 10's?
I am thinking about buying 3 rsd 10's from the seller on ebay. I think it would be cool to have a triple sealed box in my blazer. I don't have any experience with the 10" versions of these though. I have used the 12" version and it seemed to do well in a large sealed box and large ported b...
Re: MMMMSSSS
I have always wanted to own an MS series amp. Never had the opportunity to hear one in action. In your opinion, how noticeable is the sound compared to a newer style pg amp? Like a Ti series for instance?

Re: bending 3/4 plywood
I use 2" brad nails on all my boxes. Never had any issues will joints coming apart. Much cleaner than screws in my opinion and quicker! Just make sure you have a decent nail gun.

Re: bending 3/4 plywood
Thanks man! The guy I built it for ended up staining and varnishing it. Turned out really nice. He also won a couple trophies in a comp. First place in one category and second in another. Not sure if the kerfed port had anything to do with it, but I was happy he won.

Re: bending 3/4 plywood
Be sure to bend with the grain on birch. I wasn't paying attention on my last box and wrecked a good chunk. I used construction adhesive in the seams and just used a 45 to relieve any pressure the kerf wall had. I did a kerf every half inch at about 12 cuts with this box.

That zx350 would be a great match. What kind of box are you doing? Also, are you installing a line out converter or what were you planning?

Re: rf t1 12 or pg ti12 elite
3.3 cubic feet In a 3.3 net cubic ft box tuned at 45 it should stomp on the 35-50hz range. You sure its tuned that high? Personally I'd go with the pg specs for that sub. I just plugged the numbers in win isd and it seems the "spl" style box they recommend will give you a little of both w...
