if your keeping it forever, it isnt stupid, if you change directions like many do- then you have a fairly rare amplifier, that you have 'changed' forever- if it were a zx350, or even a zx500 wouldn't think twice about 'customizing' it That is what is stopping me. i bought mikes zx950 that need to be redone and im thinking about having phoeinix gold cut out of the top then frosting plexi and blue backlight. kinda like this

It just cost more. I was going to use it on my ms1000 but never got around to ordering some. If you make a stencil rc car body paint is made for lexan and you could do something custom and it won't flake off.

Polycarbonate is the same thing as lexan. It's just as clear as acrylic but cost more but it's not as brittle. A lot of bullet proof glass is made out of polycarbonate.

I would say yes there is an amp. My mustang has 8" dvc subs in the doors run off factory amps. Mine are 1.2 ohm for each coil so measure your coil b4 you buy.

check out the zx450 75w x4 and a pretty small footprint and tons of headroom. i have never used HAT speakers but the m25s pack a punch for there size.

Man I could not see all those issues in the phone looking at it. The broken fins is what will really hurt the the value as they can't be fixed.

At least 700 is the plexiglas cracked? The end plates don't look bad. Any nicks in the powder coat on the sink?

Your imaging won't be great with the tweet on-axis so close to your ear on the drivers side, and off-axis on the passenger side. I'd agree with using dash, A-pillar or even kickpanel locations. Expensive tweeters are no good if they aren't installed properly! thx i did not even think about the pass...

i could trim them down a little but cutting a $250 tweeter is not something i want to do. i needed a tweeter to play down to 2000hz or less thats why a got these.
