.8 is pretty small. You should just plug your ported box! ha ha ...I am actually thinking about taking my ported box down to buddies and putting it on his table saw and slicing a few inches off it and putting a new back on it. length is pretty close to perfect just a little deeper than I need..... ...

I dont want to use more space than that. I tried it with my ported box that is around 1.25 and it was lou...

just thought i would update...adcom died...not sure why...since I am not a amp tech I have decided not to spend even more on it or it would end up being the most expensive 4304 ever.... but it sure as hell sounded nice...I loved it and it had all the power one could need. the line drivers for these ...

zed minilith running a RSDC 12 .....is it enough power?
I have a dual 2 vc so its wired at 4 ohms. which it is getting roughly 250 watts out of my zed audio minilith. I like the amp but havnt got it tuned right. not used to all these controls on a sub amp. I wonder if its enough or I might need to change subs. thinking of doing a 10inch or a 12 inch but ...
I don't care what the manual says, measure the output noob (JK) Seriously, the output voltage is going to depend on the input voltage. If you max the gains the power will still differ based on how much voltage you put into the amp. Keep in mind those Adcom car amps were made before high volta...
You should never max the gains as a rule of thumb. Measure your gains with a multimeter or oscilloscope and see where you REALLY have them set! http://phoenixphorum.com/gain-setting-with-dmm-vt280.html Ordinarlily I would say your right... but in the case of the ADCOM it says right in the manual th...
they are all fairly rare seems like. they is maybe less than 4 on ebay at any time if lucky. I am really liking the amp. it has had all caps replaced and been tuned to correct settings from factory. these amps have to be tuned internally to sound 100% . it reminds me a lot of my old ZPA amps I loved...

RSDc 12 dual 2 ohm..think I need a bigger sealed box?
I beleive its a .70 cubic foot box...so after the sub allowance that would be little less than that. I put a decent amount of polyfill in it but I am wondering if I need to step up to a 1 cubic ft box. that is about as big as I can allow. or maybe put some more poky in it. I put maybe half a bag of ...

Here is a link with some discussion about box sizing with these subs. http://phoenixphorum.com/rsdc124-box-size-and-line-driver-question-vt15331.html yeah that is where I got the figure from: For SQ 1.17 cu ft, for SPL 0.72 cu ft, woofer displacement 0.13 cu ft but I wanted to make sure that was a ...
