Re: Elite.65cs versus HAT Imagine
If the Imagines sound better and can take the power, they are definitely better speakers, especially since they're cheaper. Comparing the Elite.65's to the Morel Ti's isn't really fair because they cost a lot more. The new Morel and Focals sound better, but also cost more. It isn't about whether or...

Re: Ti series and Elite series differences. Ti vs Ti2 as wel
Regarding the a/b to d question. In my experience I've found all class d to be rolled off on the top end. A/B seems to have a little more energy from the upper midrange to high freq. Just my .02. Just to clarify, is this a general observation about class d amps, or a specific statement about the ne...

Re: Elite.65cs versus HAT Imagine
I heard the imagines, and sounds great. are 100 rms against 150 That 150 watt rating on the Elites is just there to keep stupid people from doing stupid things. They were made to run off the Elite.4, and the birth sheet rms power for mine is 187 watts rms at 14.4 Volts. I run my Elite.4 around 15 v...

Elite.65cs versus HAT Imagine
Has anyone heard both of these speakers? I've heard nothing but rave reviews about the HAT Imagines. One shop (who sells both) said that the Imagines are the best speakers he has ever heard (next to the Clarus line). Then there are the forum fan boys singing the Imagine's praises. I've also heard th...

Re: SD13.5 and Ti16.5 impedence question
EDIT: One additional question...what would you estimate the Ti amp produces at 4 ohms on the sub channel? I see the website only rates it at 1 and 2 ohms???? ********** Thanks Morgan, I appreciate your thoughts. I knew the amps were stable down to 2 ohms, I just wasnt sure they were able to have var...

SD13.5 and Ti16.5 impedence question
Guys, I'm about to buy one of the two above amps. The vehicle they are going into does not have room for deep front speakers - so one of the shallow mount speaker options I'm considering is Polk MM6501. They are a 2.7 ohm 6.5" component set. The rears are a set of 4ohm 6.5" coaxs. The sub ...

Re: Who can repair my Ti500.4?
Thank you both for your replies. I got a chance to play with the amp a bit more today... I hooked up all 4 RCA channels and with valeks1's suggestion, I started messing with the rotary switches. Seems that the static is coming from the rotary swithces. Rotating both the front and rear HP/LP/BY switc...
Re: SD1300.5
Sorry to bring this back...I'm considering the same two amps - the SD13.5 and the ti16.5. Does anyone have some newer feedback now that these are out?

Re: Who can repair my Ti500.4?
I tried only two RCA connects to the front inputs. Then I played with the "F/R/3" setting on the amp. Reason I thought it was the amp is because I swapped the amp out for an old Orion Cobalt workhorse I have sitting around, and hooked it up identically (just front RCAs) and it sounded fine...

Who can repair my Ti500.4?
Hey guys, First post! I'm a proud owner of two old school Ti amps. Both have been sitting on the shelf for several years while I have been building my project car. Now that the time has come to install the audio, it seems that the left front and left rear channels of the Ti500.4 have crapped out. Wh...
