I'm not sure whats going on with this.That post was from back in April and not sure why it just came up or what the topic was about.

I like to do a quick bench test just to make sure everything is good so I don't end up taking the board back out for a switch or gain pot.You can always pull the leaky power supply caps off the board if you want and run the amp that way too as long as you have clean power going to the amp.

The power supply to the rails is not working if the red led's are off.I don't have a clue on the repair tho.Did you do any testing before it came apart?

That explains why ZED is now the repair spot for PG amps.

Nope,I have been installing for over 25 years and when you get the same issue on a test bench and in the vehicle it's the amp.

The battery I use is fully charged and not on the charger when testing.I put the amp in my truck today and it still pops thru all 4 channels when it powers off.I had it running the front stage,no subs.It pops even with the rca's unhooked and crossovers off amp gains all t...

Make sure you have the correct 4 conductor cable.

I don't live too far from PG and had called them about dropping off instead of shipping and all was good but that was back in Feb.I called yesterday to get the RA number and you know the rest of the story,1 week to late.

I might just have to build a crate to hold 3 MS amps.I have shipped a lot of amps but just 1 at a time with no damage.I might just have to do the 2125 by itself to keep it lighter and the 275's together.

I'm just going to have to pack them up and ship them to Altser in Portland and hope they don't get damaged in the mail room.

AAMP /PG is no longer doing any amp repairs.They said they quit last week and now Zed Audio is doing all the repair work in Cali.I was going to drive over and drop off my amps for caps and repairs but now that's not going to happen.

Isn't this going to leave a gap between 55-100 hz that isn't played?

It might if the sub amp gain is low but when you turn up the sub volume to match up with the highs its pretty close to no gap at all.
