I'll never forget at first looking at the box, with the woofer inside of it thinking that it just didn't look right. And then for just a instant when he fixed it I thought everything was good, and then again I thought that something just didn't look right and after that you couldn't look at anything...

if I had an airbag then that is where it would go. It was an option in 97 that I didn't order. The cover at the moment is held in place with some dowels that I will replaces with magnets. I am going to make a cover to go over the side and front that will probably be painted, and I am going to put a ...

running wires in mercedes is tough enough to do just under the carpet with as tight as everything is put together. I am glad I am not the one that is going to make the power and signal wires try to go between the doors and not bind up. Lay out your power, ground, signal in and out wires and then try...

Take a look at the battery charger I bought for my RC airplanes. All that it really is, is 4 plastic stand-offs that you can find at any ace hardware, and two metal pieces(top and bottom) and the 4 screws that hold it together. With this design you would have to be carefull about pieces of wire gett...

why not just get some spade terminals that you could use insulated female spades that easily crimp on the wires, and easily disconnect with a small pull? Do you know the style? I use them on the bottom of relays to make quick and easy connections and can take a pic if you need but these would be sup...

it is possible that you just tuned the gains up a little and discovered some small noise that was always there. Noise can be caused by a dozen or more different problems. Are the signal cables next to the poewer cables? If so try to seperate them. Disconnect your rca cable from your deck with the ca...

one piece of advise that I thought of today when I recieved my DD5(you started this project a week too late for me). The two times that I have used these both times it has been a little larger then what I needed and I had to really try to get them in. make them as small as possible, you could save a...

I have more of the thermistors and want to experiment with them. If I am not mistaken the 10k version that I use is popular because with a standard ohm meter you can read temperatures with the impedence reading it gives. The rddp and r-link stuff were strange to me as a dealer at the time. They kept...

the mini's are the new thing and are becomming more and more common. I don't think best buy would carry them as they are a little bit a high-end item at the moment. You can find them at any regular car audio shop as they will be using them. How big is the amp total on the fuses built into your amps?...

Because a fuse is such a short distance, it really offers negligible resistance to the line... think about it, if you've got a big fuse up at the front by the battery, you would think you already have very little power in the back of the car... however with 0 gauge you still get 250 amps. So ideall...
