ah yes, this weighs 2.1kg (so that's around 4.6lbs); I'm pretty sure the top is Aluminum. It's nicely done, I like the feel.

... and I've found another. At a bargain price, which makes me wary... 221 S Main St Banks, OR 97106-9005 Cow's Towing (what a name!) appear to have a 150.4. for $85. Which I can't complain at. Any volunteers? Of course, expenses paid, even if it doesn't work out. The reason I'm looking at the 150.4...

high end? not really. Quality DSLR that can produce pictures significantly better than a PoS PnS? (point n Shoot) - definitely. It would seem to be a nice price, and it's a good start in DSLR.
