TTOCS A ++
Bought two items from TTOCS one about 6 months ago and again couple weeks ago. Scott , is very trustworthy as most of you know on this site. It's nice being able to buy something and not have to worry about the seller. Thanks Scott !

Best HIGH OUTPUT alternator for the money ??
Looking for a high output alternator for my 2010 Honda. Years ago there used to be a place locally that would rebuild the stock ones to make them HO. Looking on the internet , there seems to be a shit load of companies that do it.. Just looking for some good advice on brands that people have had goo...

Re: M-50 serial # m50001
As far as I'm concerned he is pretty damn good. I'm taking 3 more amps in to have him re- cap them. He is the closest to you on the West coast to boot. There is a lot of guys on this site that can do it , but you can drive to Alec's house. I usually wait till the Salmon get in at Portland then just ...

Re: AX204A smells burnt no marks on board
The board is clean , just need someone to look at it for me , I honestly think it is one of the switches inside that is failing. Is this something that tricky Ricky could fix ??

AX204A smells burnt no marks on board
I bought a AX204A off E-bay about a year ago. I waited about 4 months before i installed it ( my bad) so when I did put it in it made a high pitched ear piercing sound. I noticed a faint burn smell when I opened the package for the first time , but still I hoped for the best. Anyways , I have bought...

Re: M-50 serial # m50001
Well actually that is true , but he sold this M-50 to a guy in Alabama a couple months ago , then this guy figured it was too nice to use in his install , and put it back up. Still never powered up !!! He wanted someone to have it that could appreciate it. ( which I do ) but the more I think about i...

Re: M-50 serial # m50001
We'll Alec built these amps when he was at PG , and pretty much does factory work . But I totally get what you are saying . I'm not going to put power to it, I just need to figure out what amp or amps I want to trade for it! That would be pretty cool if someone sat on this for another 9 years and ma...

Re: M-50 serial # m50001
I will definitely think about that offer for sure. I'm not the collector like a lot of people on this site. I have a lot of phoenix gold amps , but I like to use them. So trading it is definately an option for me . But if I have Alec change the caps , will that hurt the value ? It still won't have p...

M-50 serial # m50001
image.jpg image.jpg image.jpg Just bought a m-50 with the serial # 1 on it off E-bay. Says that it has never Been powered up before since 1993. The thing is immaculate. Talked to alster in Portland , he says I should change the caps in it because they have a shelf life. Even though it has never see...

That's very reassuring to know that , thanks for the reply My car was stolen a out 14 years ago and they got whole phoenix gold system! Didn't get any of it back, so I'm trying to rebuild my PG arsenal. Had two kids and have been out of the game for awhile... All my stuff was new back then, it's jus...

I guess I'll reply to myself ! I'm sending my amp to Alster LLC in Portland , OR , he used to work at PG when they built these amps. Don't know if anyone heard of this guy , but sounds like he is legit on all PG stuff.

Re: Leaking capacitor tutorial update
Hello everyone ! Derek from Idaho , new to this site and I am learning a lot. I recently acquired a MS 2125 off E-bay ! Well it looks like I need to re- cap this thing ! I took a look inside and could see a little seepage from the caps and then did the paper test and yes they are leaking. I'm not ve...
