why didnt you like the fi? Compared to the RSDc, it's nowhere near as musical, and surprisingly, nowhere near as punchy. Even when I had the T1200.1 hooked up to it, I noticed a certain amount of listening fatigue setting in after awhile. I haven't compared sensitivity ratings, but it seems like th...

+1 on the single sub setup. I used to run 2 RSDc 12"s off a Tantrum 1200.1, went to a Fi for awhile, and just last weekend, dropped a new RSDc 12" in a sealed enclosure with a Tantrum 500.2 on it, bridged to 4 ohms. Sounds so damn sweet (AND LOUD) off what is probably around 460 watts at 1...

If you like the T1200.1. There will be three different amps to choose from in the 1000 to 1500 watt range with varying footprints, some big, some very small. They will all be 1 ohm stable amplifiers. Nice! Space is definitely at a premium in my ride and the 1200.1 fit the bill perfectly for 2 12&qu...

i'd love to eventually see a mono amp with the equivalent footprint of the old tantrum 1200.1, with about as much power, but obviously more reliability than the tri-path chip architecture. 2 and 4 ohm capable would be totally sweet.

I have the rear deck cover removed. I have the back windows tinted with 5%, so you cant see in there. I had my previous setup facing up and it sounded great, but it was ported. I guess I can aim it back and redo the size of the box. Any pics of your setup? I wanted to aim it up and create a new tru...

i've got a scion tc. i would definitely recommend you face the sub towards the rear section of the hatch, not upwards, or it's going to sound pretty flabby back there. you'll also get more hatch rattle that way, believe it or not. facing towards the hatch, the rear fill has a nice tendency to roll f...

If anyone is looking to build a rock-solid dual 12" sealed enclosure, here are some dimensions for a double-baffle. Each chamber would be 1.17 cu ft after displacement from an RSDc, ideal for SQ setup. I was going to have Fisher Customs build this up for me, but BJ is on indefinite hiatus, whic...

Just out of curiousity, do you guys think the amazon.com sale has anything to due with PG's current state of affairs? Like trying to blast stuff out, get rid of stock and then start closing things up? Usually a vendor and distributor don't blow stuff out like this unless there is a new product line ...

i was running mine sealed with 1.17 cu ft each after displacement. after a month, they were really superb. i had to do some amp reconfiguration though so i'm currently using a fi q 12" until i figure out my next amp for a dual 12" setup. i really can't recommend the RSDc subs highly enough...

i agree. i used to have a single power HX2 way back when and even then, i wasn't too thrilled with it. i ended up going with an infinity perfect 12 instead. definitely go RSDc!! hell, $79 shipped through amazon...how could you NOT?

is that a cargo mat in the back or a solid part of the rear cargo area? if the latter, you can always do 4 4" strips of industrial strength velcro on the bottom of the enclosure; one strip for each corner area. as long as what you're affixing it to is a solid part of the interior, that stuff wo...

The tweeters on these have always been a favorite of mine. Very natural sounding set, but lacking a little bit in the mid-bass department. I wonder if the rsdc crossovers would pair well with these comps?

i run 75w x 4 to my active RSDc comps and it's more than enough, trust me. i'm still surprised how well these things respond when pushed past normal listening levels. i keep expecting them to hit a wall at some point, but my ears plead mercy before they do.
