man I wasn't scolding you but he never knew the word soundstage until we told him about it in this post.... It sounded to me as though he just wants a system that is loud as piss until we threw the word soundstage at him. Being a former salesman I like to find out a little about the person before I ...

Yep, with a Trans Am, you definitely want JUST front speakers. Adding speakers in the back just ruins your imaging and staging. With the rear speakers that close to your ears as well, you will have major time alignment and volume differences between left and right as well. Kickpanels are as far awa...

Most audiophiles do not like rear speakers since you are really just trying to recreate a live performance and when was the last time you went to a concert with speakers behind you? If you like rear fill the by all means use it, to each his own. The idea of just a single pair of speakers in the kick...

over the past few years I have had some digestive issues that have taken over my life that are similar to chrones. I have ALL of the symptoms to deal with but unfortunatly I have not been able to get a confirmed diagnosis after years of testing. 5 yrs ago I was working 2 jobs, 50 hrs a week, eating ...

they have been making the hex series for well over a decade and I was suprised to find out that they did finally change them recently. There are times when you can remember being really wowed bya pair of speakers and the hex 6.5s really impresses me well over 10 yrs ago. I was working at a shop that...

I agree that you have a bigger problem loosing that many volts from the alt to the amp. Putting another alt may help but it will only be a band-aid. I too would start checking your grounds. I would assume with that much work done that you would have already upgraded your big 3 but I would do a gener...

I agree that the fuses are there to protect if something goes wrong. So what I like to consider is what will happen if the wire I am running shorts out. I you only have one fuse at the battery and the wire goes to the power core, what will happen if the wire grounds out at the firewall? The fuse by ...
