We've been doing a lot of video with work recently. So, after using a 7d purely for moving pics and a couple of office shots, I went out the other day with the 7d from behind my desk. It has a 17-55/2.8 on the front. The lens isn't too shabby and I think I managed to work the AF out... these are all...

What interface and user interface (i.e. trackball, touchscreen...) are you going to use?

there ain't much out there that runs 6 channels and is USB. I have a Terratec Phase 26 here at home, and it's OK; the DMX 6Fire at work is better sound wize but "needs" 12V AC to work. I haven't taken it apart (it's their soundcard!) to see why. Gigaport or Maya are about the only other op...

is the speed on the serial port set correctly?

still isn't over. I have another week here in Germany... going back a week on Monday. 5000kms now driven, I'll break 6500, I think (that's 4k miles in 5 weeks). Highs?
