Re: Kinetik power cells

Isolators work well doing what they are supposed to but there is a price. Because they use diodes to limit the direction of power flow they do eat up a little bit of voltage. That is why they are formed into heat sinks. Yes, they use a bit of that charging energy that you want so badly going to your...

Re: And here´s the reason for my collection clearout

There has to be more to the $1. header story. There is no way you could make any money even if your labor was free. Ok, $50. dollar shipping, maybe they are making a few bucks on that. The headers would have to be stolen and whoever is selling them is happy making a couple bucks off the shipping jus...

Re: PG 2010 gear anyone on the fourm own and used anything?

I would not buy a car I could not test drive. I will not buy audio gear I cannot hear first. I look forward to the day I get to demo the new stuff, but I am certainly not holding my breath. I agree. I like to feel, smell, and listen first. But for those that are complaining about not being able to ...

Re: PG 2010 gear anyone on the fourm own and used anything?

honestly when I saw that other post about going to china, that was my first idea in my head is that is how I would finally be able to see/hear the new gear. The closest place to me is a tire shop over 2 hrs away. That new/big 5 channel would be great in my stang with the system I am designing but i...

What gauge of wire did you use for power and ground? SVC, DVC, are single voice coil and dual voice coil, referring to the sub. Which is yours?

Oregoners

To all of yous in Oregon, there is national Roller Derby action Friday, Saturday, and Sunday this weekend in Portland or there abouts. My girlfriend is on the Detroit Travel team and will be skating against several teams from your area. If you haven't been to a derby bout before I highly suggest it....

Re: Anybody use a LOC?

I bought one of these N-RHL2 from David Navone. The nice thing about it is that it creates a remote turn on for your amp. Great for a factory radio that does not have a remote out. I have not installed it yet as I am waiting for one more part to come in the mail. Sorry I cannot tell you how well it ...

Re: xenon RMD questions and a big problem...

Are you saying that you hooked up the rmd to a battery charger directly with no battery? If yes, then that is probably why it is reading high. The battery charger is looking for some feedback from a battery and will up the voltage thinking the battery that is not there is really low on charge. You n...

what i am confused about is why would it be or read 2 then .2 Shouldnt it really be .2 to 2 on the gain?? b/c you would have .2 before you have a whole 2 volts... no? or is that not indicative of volts??? know what i mean? perhaps another typo on pg's end??? I will swap'em out... but just in my min...

Re: Drew's OEM Rte 66 Restore

It looks great, really. I do agree with Eric, the black line is pretty thick. The only other thing I noticed that stands out are the decimals on the gain indicators. They are on opposite sides from original to restore. Scottn29 spelled it out better than I could and beat me to it as I'm typing. That...

Looking pretty sweet. It is close enough for me. Yes, there are variances here and there but if you don't do a direct side by side like you are with the art on amp, who would notice.

Nice work Matt.
