I didnt even think about uploading it here. The program is only 2.5 megs, so it should work. I havent played around much with it becasue my brother has my mic, but it has some interesting features. Apparently the forum will not allow .exe files to upload. I zipped it, so hopefully it will work for y...

New RTA program

My brother found this program on a home theater site. I havent really played around with it, but it shows some promise. Best yet, its FREE! I have to wait until I get my mic back to really get some use out of it.

haha...not a professional at all. Just some thing that I do on the side to waste time. But yes, RAW is the only way to go. Changing white balances and exposeres is worth the size.

when shooting RAW, an image can be up to 7 megs...It goes fast when you arent around a computer to dump them on. I've gone through 3 gigs in 2 hours shooting snowboarding sequences.

SD card problem

I recently purchased a 4 gig SD card for my Nikon D50. I am going to the autoshow on saturday and wanted to make good use of it. Anyway, the recommended max size for the D50 is 2 gig. However I've been told that if you format in a computer, it will be fine. So I get the card and plug it into the slo...

I would also suggest looking at a different DVD player. Due to HD/lueray, the cost of upcovert players has dropped significantly. To be honest, the difference in an upconverted signal and HD was not all that much. I was expecting much more out of it. Check out some pioneer elites, they can be picked...

Typically I dont read. I usually dont have time. However, I have gone through 2 books in the last month. "Rivethead: Tales of an assembly line worker" it was interesting to hear about the flint GM plant, being that I live so close and can see directly why it turned into a shithole. "A...

Also, here are the results: http://www.barrett-jackson.com/appstest2/carlist/default.asp The big ones are on saturday. You can even see the pictu...

New problem! I was heading to my first class of the semester at 745 am and hopped in the car. i turn the key and "click." Nothing. This has happened before and it was a dead battery. I tried again, and the alarm started going crazy due to low voltage. This gets really annoying. I think it ...

things just arent going my way

Well, I just got back to school and things have not been in myfavor. Nothin major, just simple things that are irritating. Yesterday i was testing out my levels in the theater and had them pretty much set. I put in a few movies to further tune to my taste. I noticed it was a little hot on the bass e...

Sony Vaio 40 gig. I couldnt settle with the terrible sound of the ipod. The output is much better on the Sony. Typically use the stock headphones walking to class, but I have some old Sony ones that work great and are comfortable to wear for long periods of time (cant remember the model). I was also...

More PHPBB help

I am running my student organizations web page that includes a forum on it similar to this one. It has been running smoothly until lately. I seem to be getting a lot of spam on there, and it is getting irritating. Is there any way to reduce the people registering and posting?
