Im with doc....

If this is your first install go two way passive. It took me countless hours trying to figure out how to get a three to work w/ a passive let alone active.

Look into....
Boston SPZ
Seas Lotus

IMO for two way dont use dyn or morel that 3" VC isnt the best w/ midrange.

Dyn IMO isnt all its cracked up to be. I owned a three way set of their speakers, IMO go for a 3 way use a cone based midrange. The dome just can't get low enough Do you need a passive xover? If not go DIY...... If you have DYN audio money do this instead Scan speak .75" or 19mm small format il...

Car Audio Opinions

Well I have not been around for a while on a consistant basis, as I've some what lost interest in car audio mostly because my car is getting old and I didnt want expensive gear in a car that has a good chance of breaking down. Also I've been far to busy with work since graduating from school. Over t...

support your dealers too. I worked with a dealer based out of VA for a about 2 years and PG customer service for them sucked at them time. Train them and give them what they need to install your products properly.

15s and 18s are a waste theirs plenty of companies out there selling them. Let them take the few sales made. No point for the mega watt amps either get them on ebay for cheap. Also offer the high end amp as an all in one units as well. 5 channel and 7 channel. You cant find a nice high end amp with ...

TWO THINGS.... For the high end line I agree with JBOX get rid of RCAs. There is no need for them, they cause far to much noise you can go so many other routes with different cables that reject noise. GO DIGITAL. HENCE Pioneer ODR. http://www.pioneer.eu/files/eur/ODR/index.html Only problem is thoug...

keep it simple for the budget line like the Ryval. RSd or something similar is fine for a mid tear line. For a practical high end line use ICE tech. and copy the Pioneer ODR setup for for Proc/signal path with each amp having onboard DSP, all signal path digital until the speakers, and a simple eleg...

why are you using different subwoofers? Are the 4 w3s and the w7 both playing the same feq. range? If so your having mass amounts of cancellation problems which will kill your SPL numbers. to be honest you might get better numbers by taking the w7 out of the picture. Also the way the w3s are set up ...

Ive got Focal Access comps up front and a set of Polyglass coaxials and the tweets look identical, Im assuming the only difference would be in the crossover for the tweet? What do you guys think? PG RSD passive crossover and RSd series question

For any of the PG tech guys lurking around here now a days.... Im assuming the PG rsd passive crossover from the comp set is the same through out the series and not specifically designed for each sized woofer. Right now I'm running the PG rsd 4" coaxil and Rsd 6.5cs woofer for my front stage, s...

I agree with most things you say Brandon, except I will have to agree to disagree with you that companies who are making money "legally" can do nothing wrong. There are still many loopholes and immoral practices that are unfairly taken advantage of, in the best interests of the company, b...
