Re: The rarest of the rare
I had my hands on one x-station (I never owned it, just baby sat it) but it was just a case. I brought it to Steve Mantz to see if he could actually make a working board for it but he didn’t even want to see it when I told him the origins. I wasn’t aware of an actual working one. I do think I’ve hea...

Thanks. Yeah I’ve sold off some of my collection, plus I don’t think that was everything. I have more black zx amps too that I think we’re still wrapped from the move.

Also go onto the registry and add your serial number or send me your info on here. What city are you in? I’m in Agoura Hills.

Re: Frank Amp ‘N Stein install
JK, I understand your desire to keep it all a secret. I like the registry because of cases like what happened to your SoFAS, it got stolen but you didn’t know the serial of it. If it was on the registry then we would know what serial to look for and we would have known that the one in San Diego wasn...

Randy, I run the Phoenix gold registry. If you’d like, PM me your name and providence and I can add your frank. Check the link in my signature, I have a good amount of them registered already, and JK ever let me register his I’m sure I’d be much further along.

Hey guys, sorry for the slow response. I can’t do another. The graphics guy that did the graphics part is a pain to work with. Getting the heat sink anodized wasn’t easy either. It was rough when I got it. Actually, I traded with someone else, Actually this one wasnt bad, but a buddy had a really ro...

Re: zen 9 new amps ect
I can assure you that PG didnt waste a ton of money on designing it just to NOT produce it.
i can say though that the ti3 looks similar, if just wait on the 6 channel to come out, and run that with a large mono. much easier to install 2 amps than one large one, but thats me.

Re: Happy 10th Anniversary to PhoenixPhorum
Lots of oldies here. Ive only been around for 5years but I’d like to think that I’ve made some contributions in those 5 years. Looking at my early posts I’ve learned a ton and made quite a few friends. Best brand and best fans in the industry. The company has had its ups and downs but that’ll never ...

I changed the “Phoenix gold registry” group to “unique and rare Phoenix gold” to make it more generic. Anyone requesting to join, PLEASE P,EASE PLEASE attempt to answer the questions. I auto ignore anyone that doesnt even attempt to answer the questions. Also, the answers are: Oregon, wire and acces...

Re: zen 9 new amps ect
Elite amps were discontinued. Now the ti3 line is their top, and they are badass amps. If you like the styling of the zen9 then you’ll love the ti3.

Re: rebuilding an OG ms1000 Nickel
The printer that my guy uses was $100k. It’s huge. He also owns a plexi shop where he makes plexi stuff from awards to fish tanks. He also has 3 vinyl plotters. He HAD a 3D printer but I was the only customer using that and it took up too much space in the shop (it was an industrial one) so he sold ...

Re: Ti3 1600.6
To answer your question, yes. I personally would prefer two amps versus one large one, and the ti3series has similar styling as the zen.
The zen is great to add to the collection, especially considering the story behind it.

Re: Amp repair
Mantz is a very honest repair guy. He has a few of my amps that he decided not to fix because the cost to repair would exceed their value and didn’t want to kill me with costs. He has fixed a handfull of amps for me though and has very reasonable pricing.

Re: circuit board repair stand
we have them in my hospitals that I work in, but when ive looked through electronics stores i saw what youve seen, pricey. I did got a decent sized on for a reasonable price but its not big enough for the 2125/2500/2250 but it will work for most ZX amps and the 275 and 430 boards.

Re: Greetings All! New member with questions on his MS ampli
Welcome to the phorum. It sounds like you have an mps-2500. Look up the specs in here. They didn't come with plexi endplate from the factory so make sure you connect the power, ground, remote and speaker cables properly. I never recommend powering them even for 5 mins as all it takes is a fraction o...
Re: ZXti help
With the system off, take that pot that's causing that and turn it clock to clock about 20 times. Those pots get dirty.

I'm back in the game, now with a 1958 Impala
I'll start off stating Thai has been my dream car for 25 years. Last month my wife gave me authorization to pick this car up if it was everything that I thought it was. It was originally a 1958 impala with a 283 v8 and 2 speed powerglide on the tree. The motor has since been replaced with a 350 from...
