Not want you expected I guess.
This one came out of this completely burned-out Mercedes 280SE-C of one of our customers....

Thats the thing i ws most afraid of when i bought my 70t charger 3 years ago! An electrical fire!

That will take tons of money if it isn´t beyond the point of not returning to the street again :(

The car was hit from behind in a tunnel, by someone driving much too fast.
The gastank ruptured right away, and the car was catapulted from one side of the tunnel to the next, catching fire immediately.
Our client jumped out, and dragged his wife and mother out of the car just before the whole car was completely on fire by gasoline still pouring out of the ruptured tank.
By pulling them out, he broke one collar-bone of his wife.....
He was lucky enough to drive with the top down; if he would have the top up he would not have been able to save his mother sitting in the backseat.
We were in disbelieve when the car was brought in, that they all survived this accident. [just like the other crash with the 300SEL 6.3].
This 280 SE-C was sold to another company that wants to put in back on the road again.... we don't want to do that.
Any car that has seen fire, needs that section to be removed completely, otherwise within a few months or a year or so, the body that has been repainted will rust again.
Also the structure of the car has been comprimised for sure.....
My advice; don't ever buy such a car!
