I need help from someone in a western state with a lot of rock

I am building an aquascape aquarium, and I want to put some cool rocks in it. My state is primarily flat land, and any rock I find is polished river rock.
I am locking for some specific shapes but am open to ideas on the kinds of rocks. I do have a large chunk of petrified wood from many years ago, and something similar but smaller would be cool.
