Me and the girlfriend discussed buying a Wii instead of a 360. The only problem with the Wii is that I hear it kinda gets old after a little while. With that being said, we are getting one of them as well. It will just have to wait a little while.
Now, if only I had a HD tv to hook this thing up to. That would be the shiznit!!

All video games get old. That's why we keep buying new consoles and rehashing the same games over and over again in an effort to convince ourselves that this is new and exciting.

I saw/used all three consoles this weekend at someone's place who has all of them and nice HDTV and they all have their merit.
Agreed, I really think that if Nintendo can keep up with new games that the Wii will do just fine. I know some of the concept games they have for it look fun as hell! If they can get them out to market and keep up with it I really think they have found a damn good nitch, hence the reason I will be buying one sometime in the future.
And BTW, if anyone is looking to buy a Wii I would check out Sam's Club. That's where I bought the Xbox 360 and while I was there they said they had 7 Wii's in stock. Pretty funny that they have them in stock when people are buying them for inflated prices on e-bay and the like!
nice! I got an elite about a month ago. I figured there's no better way to enjoy unemployment! Forza 2 is great if you like ultra-realistic racing games, and I've been glued to Madden '08 for the last week!
