Makes me think of XXX the movie and Godsmack. Those were the 1st two things that instantly popped into my head.

I've thought about getting one, but it's not the needles that stop me. I had som problems about 15 yrs ago and took it out on my arms w/knifes. Not suicidal things just the pain I had in my life then I felt needed to match on the outside.

It's that thought that what ever I get will be w/me for the rest of my life and things life that weigh heavily on me.

I don't give a rat's ass if it's your limb or not, still a hairy bastard.
It looks kinda like a swastika to me. I'm not rehearsed with the homey symbols painted all over signs in town. Some of those kids got talent though.

Are military tats included in this "tribal type bullshit" you speak of?

military tat are ok if you did in fact serve! otherwise they are bullshit.

most military type ink is something along the line of a unit or branch insignia hence not tribal.

tribal = looks like what a cave man would draw on a cave wall or at best.

most tat shops like tribal because its fast & easy to do and brings in money fast.

to me tribal = Mc-inkwork e.g. can get done almost by anyone talent not needed.

I think it can be a little bit more defined, but I thought it looked kinda cool. :? Really I guess I didn't consider it tribal because it's from a video game, but overall I just think it looks cool. I have no tats, but like everything else I do I would have to research this out and find a good guy to do it. It does look a little sloppy on the example I showed, so I would like to get it done by someone who know what he/she is doing. Hell, it was just a thought!

looks like a terrible job, imo.. the design is sloppy in the first place, and then mix in the awful lines (nothing is straight, or properly curved)

I suppose I could forgive it if it were a DIY tat.. lol
I'm afraid of widths.
