I have been burned by bad buyers about as much as feedback retaliation....

Isn't retaliation why they have disputes? Seems like they are taking away a perfectly good tool (buyer feedback) just to not waste as much time solving disputes (=time + money from their pockets).

How about...... the seller leaves feedback AS SOON AS THEY ARE PAID !! Really, as a buyer I should be getting feedback as soon as I pay, that's my part of the bargain.

While I think this is a stupid idea I also sellers who won't leave feedback until the buyer does. If they suck , that means I don't get good feedback as a buyer. That's not fair.

Bad buyers, and bad sellers, they both exist. The whole feedback system is flawed.
The system should have a first step contact before post so the threat of feedback does its job not just incite retaliation which is what it does every time I have seen it used.

It always erodes to the pot calling the kettle black, as a rule I do not use negative feedback ever to get a problem solved as leaving a mark always incites the same back and does nothing to fix the issue. ( It's sort of like two people punching each other in the eye, the problem is still unresolved, and now everybody is pissed off, smooth move all the way, and now its public laundry airing ) This all sounds like Jerry Springer trash to me....

Now after its all said and done < I.E. ebay has entered and solved the issue> Then set and leave feedback. like E-bay resolved dispute ...Enough said, that tells me all I need to know and without profanity and name calling and accusations that may or may not be founded in truth.

Heck PP and e-bay get involved anyway and they are the only way to resolve anything, as no one else can do anything but them, they run the show so why make a public spectacle out of it, just PM PP or E-bay and ask for a refund, and let them settle it....Or instead Call Jerry Springer and make a show of it

Good shit. I am tired of being held over a fucking barrel by cunty sellers.

I always, ALWAYS pay for my item as soon as the auction is done (why the fuck would you not? if you dont have the money dont buy something !) and I have had 3 lots of bad feedback left for me because I dared fucking complain about a bad seller.

I am sick and tired of having it held over my head and being forced NOT to complain. So I have taken bad feedback just so I can have my say.

Recently I bought some stuff, wasnt overly happy and didnt bother to fucking say anything because I knew they were waiting to strike back.

All a buyers feedback EVER needed to say was how quickly you fucking paid, thats your part of the deal done.

So Im all for it.

Can anyone here tell me why they DO NOT give feedback untill I have done it? This is especially for US-sellers, not european guys. When I buy in Europe, feedback comes at once the money is safe in the bank... As for today: I have 7 deals waiting for feedback. All items are paid at once, but no feedback untill I give positive feedback.

I wish it was set up so buyers can't even leave feedback until after the seller does. I pay for my wins within minutes usually right after I snipe it I pay it instantly

And just another reason why I don't use EvilBAY. The whole system is flawed and there really is no such thing as a "secure transaction".
