Global Warming… My Ass!

Post by Eric D »

I spent 2 hours digging my truck and my house out of the snow today. I have not seen snow like this since the 80’s. 90% of this showed up in less than 24 hours.

Oh how I envy you. Hell, that's almost barbeque weather in the Rockies, better dig that sucker out. I thought I would enjoy my first winter in the Desert a lot more than I actually have. I'm surprised you don't get major snowfall like that every year in Michigan.

Doesn't look like you did much digging though! Gotta love the snow blower.

Wow, that snow has really been packed and formed.

Back in Calgary the snow is all dry, this reminds me of how snow was back in Montreal when I was a kid.

My snow blower kicks ass. It is older than I am (by 3 years) but starts with two pulls in any conditions and has so much torque it never dies. If I caught my leg or arm in it no one would ever find the body. Just a red stain in the snow with the blower sitting there idling.

That wall of snow that your snowblower cut off is cool 8)

Fuzzy's right... too cold here for snow to get sticky. Most people here have a pretty small driveway, so we just use a shovel. That wet heavy stuff, when we occasionally get it, is sheer murder for your back.

It's been really cold here this year, but it hasn't snowed much at all. All of it has been dumping in the mountains before it can make it to us.

We're getting hit pretty hard this year also in Utah. It's not staying around as much, but there have been many storms this year that dropped good, deep snow. In between storms it's getting warm enough to melt what was just dropped for the most part, but I'm willing to bet this is the most snow that has dropped in 10 years around these parts.

I wish my old man had a damn snow blower!!

And Jed your right, I'm bbqing tomorrow night baby!!

I love snow!!!!

P-town shuts the fuck down when it even threatens to snow. All the damn Cali-foreiners litter the roadways with SUV's they can barely drive in the summer time.

I'm from a small mountain town in northern Idaho and they got 4+ feet.
Those tender little burgers with them little, itty-bitty grilled onions that just explode in ya mouth like flavor crystals every time you bite into one.. just makes me want to burn this muthafuka down.... Come on, Pookie, let's burn this muthafuka down!!!

Record snow this year up here. This all came in the last three weeks. I like the seasons and it's not bitter cold like Calgary or Winnipeg.

I would trade winter with you guys any time. You may get a lot of snow, but at least you get four seasons. We get two; winter and summer :?

And oh god... the dryness... THE DRYNESS!!!! I feel like a frickin Cicada here.

I still haven't required anything but a hoody or a jacket outside this year.

Going back to Calgary for a week is going to shock my system.

Here was me thinking you had eaten too many curries and was contributing nicely to global warming
