I'm using those tweeters in lieu of the tweeters that come with the PG Elite set. I have a 3 way with the 5 1/4" mid in the kick and 9" as a midbass in the door. Now I'll be adding the piccolo's in the a-pillars so I'll be able to cross them over at a lower freq.

Nice! Which midbass did you go with? I've been talking to Vin and he's somewhat talked me into getting a set of 6.5" Supremo's, which come with those particular tweeters.

Well Ive been using the PG Elites 3-way(9"-5 1/4"-twt) which is essentially the Elate series driver from Morel. I was thinking of switching to all Supremo series but after talking to them seems the Elite/Elate 9" is better suited as a midbass driver in a 3-way setup whereas the Supremo was better suited in a 2-way system. So I'm keeping the PG 5 1/4"mid and 9" as a midbass. Adding the piccolo's and replacing Arc Audio 12's with the Ultimos.

Damn, now I'm getting bitch slapped LOL! I certainly will. I'm gonna put them in today and break them in over the weekend. I'll give my findings maybe mon/tues next week. Hopefully the airspace in my existing enclosures will work for these. Should. But if not I'm in for a lengthy rebuild.

I love them! As a matter of fact, I blew one attempting to find out what their limits really were. When I finished the enclosures for them I was so amazed at how low they would play I started doing sine sweeps with them. I had people getting in to listen because I was so impressed. I keep pushing my luck with volume and had the whole car shaking with just these two 9" drivers! Then I smelled it. That unmistakable smell of burning coil.

So I bought replacements and now I know that for what I am using them for they will shine! In my set-up they are the midbass for the front stage. I have them playing from 40hz up to 250hz which is the lowest my P-9 will allow

Curious .. What is VC? Voice Coil? Why would a smaller one make a differance?

Glad you like them. I blew one as well. Played fine for 8 hours during my ride from Texas to Colorado. Blew in the last 10 min of an 8 hour trip.

I might have an extra one if you are interested.
