Thats when she gets a set of steelies with hubcaps.......
My wife curbed a wheel one time and she called me in tears to tell me. I get home thinking the worst and there's a scuff about an inch long and 1/16" wide.
She thought I was gonna flipout on her too. But that was when 17's were first commin out and they cost me $1200 with tires.

Those tender little burgers with them little, itty-bitty grilled onions that just explode in ya mouth like flavor crystals every time you bite into one.. just makes me want to burn this muthafuka down.... Come on, Pookie, let's burn this muthafuka down!!!
Mainly cus the girls you kick-it with drink heavily while in yer company..... And once you get hitched up, you'll have to hide that key in yer ass to keep her from driving it.....or get her a car she likes more than yers...

I was gonna make some joke about how Wendy drives well because she's a boy in a girls body, but then I didn't.stipud wrote:Wendy drives just as good as I do. To be honest she's the first female driver I've ever driven with who doesn't make me shit my pants. Yep, I am lucky
And now I did.

Your balls are cut one ones hangging out and you can't drive while holding your balls and her car doesn't run and you NEED to get to the hospital...... then would you let her drive your car?Bfowler wrote:no girls drive my car. ever. for any reason. period
Come on Brian...

Lucky me... My wifes terrified of driving my vehicles. She feels that my truck is to big for her and she doesn't feel comfortable driving a fullsize truck.

My daughter lives on a county road and one day my wife went to pick her up as she left going down that long driveway she turned to soon and into the ditch she went at the end of their driveway, Now THAT takes skillz. Turning not just inches to soon, but 6 feet to soon. Sport suspension on her Pontiac Grand Am GT had the ass end in the air.

.. mine managed to scrape four of five spokes when we first came down, before we moved here. Since then, so far, it's been no problems. Gave me a good excuse to polish the wheels, too
She has, however, managed to scratch two of her own alloys, one of which is pretty heavy - and that's on 205/55R16s, not my 215/40R17s. How the...? I don't know, it was on the old tires - and it's her car

Ya she won't drive my car either. She knows that episode(or any other) in my car would cost alot more. She's too cheep to risk that. So she's been driving(destoying) the same car for 6yrs and I refuse to get her anything new knowing it will suffer the same fate.
Luckily, she only managed to tear the valve stem off so it didn't prove too costly. And the hubcap has many a scars already. Needless to say she has a problem judging the distance from her front end and what ever is in front of her. (reminds me of a joke)
Did I ever tell ya about the time she backed into my car .. in the driveway .. with the Jeep Grand Cheerokee .. TWICE! I've since widened my driveway and don't park behind her anymore

My wife ripped part of the bumper off our 528i.
I should have expected as much because both bumpers are knocked loose on her old civic that I drive into the city everyday.

My wife hasn't done shit to my truck because she's barely driven it as she only has a "learner's" license. I've certainly smashed and scratched my truck more than she has.
However, her manual skills at low speed do need some work and I would be hesitant to just let her drive it around alone. I have no problem with Wendy or Tom driving my truck though
Speaking of other people driving our cars, how many people her actually let someone else drive their vehicle? How many will NEVER let someone else drive?

.... I spoke too soon. There are now three marks on the near-side rear wheel. Since I washed the car yesterday, I know they weren't there when I got home last night.. and there are no curbs at work.
<sigh>
I normally drive, we both drive each other's cars, I drive other people's, too, when I have to. Used to rent all the time for work, so another car....

There isn't a vehicle I owned that my ex-wife didn't fuck up somehow... scratches, dents, knocked-off bumpers, blown tires (and the fender damage that comes from that), torn under-skirting and smashed ground effects. And she usually just found humour in the damage done and my reaction to it!!
Sigh...but the GF is super-cautious with my Lex, and so far, so good.

My wife's not too bad, she just needs to pay more attention. She's had a few wrecks that could have been avoided if she was just paying more attention. When we go out together I always drive, mainly because I'm a horrible back seat driver.
As far as letting others drive my vehicles I'm usually OK with it if it's my car but I'm a little protective of the FJ. With that being said almost everyone lets me drive their car. I think my personal high is 12 vehicles in one day, that included work trucks and others personal vehicles. When me and the old man go out on an inspection he usually has me drive his truck. It's just something about driving that I like, hell ask Keith! I drove his truck from Cali to Utah for him to come get!
