phoenix gold watches..

Post by nico boom »

some time ago, I asked around here, if anyone was interested in having a PG-watch, since my wife works at a company that designes, and delivers specially made watches on request.
so far, we've had some discussions about it, but nobody actually said they wanted to have one.
this makes it hard to even propose a design, since I have no clue what you all would like to see on such a watch, let alone the appearance of the watch itself.
so; are there amongst you guys who are genuine interested, and if so; what should it to look like?
if less than 25 people come forward, it will be impossible even to order such a item.
in that case; no hard feelings at all, this was just one of my ideas to make life just a little bit more [PG] beautifull. nico
pic; my work-watch.

[ever had a son of two years old, that has nightmares every our?..]
sleep well my friends, and don't think about the things you're gonna experience later in life!

I never use a watch... just my cellphone :)

But... I have also never owned a good watch, or found one that fit my bony wrists comfortably. I always get cheap ones with lots of nickel in the back, and it gives me a rash. Either that, or the strap is very hard and loose, so it hurts my wrist. I tend to give away most of them. The longest I have used a watch is maybe two months.

Do you have any newer style watches with a fat strap (leather or fabric)? I have been considering trying them out as they might be more comfortable for me.

watches

Post by nico boom »

as I mentioned before; EVERYTHING is possible Tom.
but I guess it's impossible to make 25 people happy with ONE design, strap type, and so on..
if you specify what kind of watch you would like, I'll have my wife seach for a demo-watch for free. If she finds one,I will send it to you as a gift, for moderating this forum.
only it will have some kind of symbol, or brand on it, like my merc. watch.

If you can get a watch something like this http://cgi.ebay.com/Mens-Midnight-Blue- ... dZViewItem but with a black face and the PG logo in silver on the face I would be interested depending on price point.

is the child having bad dreams or night terors ? big dif between the two. i dont wish night terors on anyone except my worst and most hated enimies.

bad dreams will wake up thinking the cookie monster is under the bed.

night terors = cant wake up untilll dream becomes so terifing that self defence mechaninisms of vitim / your kid kick in and override the rem cycle. usaly wake up screeming like they are being killed over and over.

some vicitms dont remember anything ecept the feeling of absolut teror.

the folowing was me but i learned to block it out thank god....sry if this sounds all bad cuz its not ...worst case the have meds now.

Yeah, satisfying 25 people on one forum would be complicated.

I think the best thing to do would be to post some samples, and hold a poll on the forum. Whichever gets the most votes would be the one we go with.

Thanks for your offer! As I said, anything with a fat strap under the watch would be perfect for me. I think this is probably the last thing anyone else would want though

WATCHES

Post by nico boom »

O.K guys, I'll see what I can come up with.
nico
MASTIFF; thanks again for your comment, it's indeed like he's been ripped out of his dream screaming of terror, this is not normal crying!
last night I didn't get any sleep, tonight the same.. this goes on, for already more than a year....
that's why the burnout I suppose.
we'll get over it, already working on it with a child-psych.
lack of sleep does strange things to an adult too; my teeth are loose, have no resistance against all kinds of infections, and my body feels as if I'm weighing 300 pounds...[and NO, I'm not that heavy..]
SO; lets talk about watches and stuff shall we?
thanks

If you can get us a ballpark figure I'm sure that would help out.

An estimate, not a final price. I think we all know the final price will depend on many factors, but an estimate will help out. That way we can all see if it's something that might cost us more than we are willing to pay.

no pics yet, sorry; my wife's in bed with a high fever, the one that is getting the whole country now, exept me!
[already had it some weeks ago].
our two little sons are also ill, so I'm running the joint now, realizing what it is to be a housewife!
I'll be back on the subject in a week or so.

no misstakes though; this goes for my wife getting better.
for the boys [2 and 4]; lots of; toys, candy[?], looking t.v [teletubbies].
cookies, reading books, telling story's etc.
and when everybody's sound asleep, I sneek into the hobby-room, and pamper my PG-AMPS...
