SO SICK OF EBAY/PAYPAL

Post by thedeal7235 »

i just dont get it, a person PAYS with their verified info, and even has the product in hand, as I type, will not leave feedback, good or bad, respond to emails, yet paypal continues to "HOLD" my funds, THEY Are the scammers, i bet they do this on a daily basis for 1-50million dollars in items sold, and they collect the interest-BASTARDS- I cant go into a store, take the product home, break it, play with it,decide if i really want it, and then go ahead and go back to store and THEN pay for it-so, if you guys can buy my items here when i lists them, ud really be helping me out, the aggrevation and stress it causes , doesnt even seem worth it at this point-has anybody else had this experience????

I haven't. But have heard this often enough that I'm expecting it to happen to me. I can't say I understand why. Aside from deliberate scamming like you said. I can say it is total BS!

The best 'e-gay fucking' is a seller CAN NOT leave negative feedback anymore. For what ever reason! WTF?!

I had a guy use the 'buy it now' feature of my auction for my P9. Then didn't pay. Kept telling me it's coming it's coming. Finally after waiting the established 10days for payment, I launched a claim against him and relisted the item. After 10 more days the dispute was closed and I gave him a 'non-paying bidder strike'. Then I went to leave him negative feedback and there wasn't even an option for it.!?

Then outta nowhere, E-bay lifted the strike against him. And would not tell me why or how they could do that. Only gave me some BS story about their study on how the fear of negative feedback was keeping people from buying.

So feedback ratings are totally useless.?!

unreal, i feel a little better now, b/c the buyer just left 100percent positive feedback-but yeah, i dont get them anymore, buyer/seller both should have the option to leave negative or posi feeddback- i think the ceos at ebay and paypal are in "opposite land", imagine Homer Simpson as their ceo, "um, land of chocolate!"

There are only two reasons to fear negative feedback (as a buyer):

1. You're buying from a dishonest seller
2. You're a dishonest buyer

It all comes down to people being real big fucking assholes that are only out for themselves, trying to fuck anyone, anytime for anything.

I hate people.

a guy back in october contacted me about 1 of my ti1200.1s from a craigslist ad i posted after noone here wanted it at the time- long story short , he talked me into listing it on the bay- he didnt know me, i didnt know him, and he wanted beyond the normal protection, whcihmade sense to me, well, i listed it, he bought it , ( then paypal wont release the funds, I ask why? they said, he said he didnt trust me as a seller-eventhough i had 100 percent- so i asked paypal what to do, b/c i wanst about to send the amp, espiciallyof that value, well, they said to ask him for a different payment option, he declined, and i politely told him i couldnt sle him the amp, then he freaks out on me, and he was able to leave me negative feedback, that was the first ever! and, b/c i canceled the transaction they would not allow his negative feedback to be removed; i try and be as honest as possible in my listings, so there are no issues-the ti 500.4 i just sold was a 9.25/10 for 320 shipped, the zx600.2 im listing here is a 5/10 thus the 150 price-u all have heard all these same stories too many times, i just needed to vent, money is in account now-thanks

What about Paypal?

I sell to anyone in the world. The only three pricks who have ever filed a claim with paypal were in France, the Isle of Reunion, and England. The reason? All of them filed a claim after not getting their stuff in less than 7 days. Paypal puts a lock on your account until they lift the claim. Nice.

That's right- they thought a package could go from Portland, Oregon to Europe and beyond, thru their own customs, and into their hot little hands in less than 7 days.

That's fine, everybody is different, and I can't think for everyone. Fine. But PAYPAL has this neat policy- if you pay more than $100 for anything, you can file a claim the moment you pay. I asked the paypal people this in person on the phone.

"So a buyer in Australia can claim to you (paypal) that they haven't got their purchase in the mail within 5 minutes of paying for it? And you feel right seizing my accounts so I can do no business with anyone?"

"That's correct sir".

I hope this economic downturn hits EBAY and PAYPAL right in the ass. Of course- they probably both qualify for bailout monies. Where's my fucking pony? Asses.

The only eBay problem I've had was when I bought my amp off there (never again lol). I contacted them a few times for info on a tracking number or something so I'd know the status of it, no reply. Week later I get an email asking for positive feedback. I was like "what the fuck, why would I give good feedback for no contact?" Needless to say, if I had waited 3 months I could've gotten a brand new one for less than I paid. I think some systems need to be tweaked just a little (lot).

Sorry to hear about your trouble- the chrysler dealership I was working at closed up a few months back, and I just found new work. Like they say good things come to those who wait....
anyway a while back I bought a pair of new Kicker RMB8 midbass drivers on ebay and I learned the meaning of B stock real quick. After a few weeks one would only play if you gave it a little nudge to get started.

Im going through this right now!!! I recently sold a very very rare vintage snare drum circa 1968... sweet drum...1400 bucks for an incomplete drum...not bad eh/??? its been 4 days and the bastard keeps stringing me along... "I have to wait till my biz partner gets back into town" he says... such BS... this is especially frustrating because that $$ is funding the last major parts of my system install!!!!!!!!
Is this where Im supposed to write something catchy??
