I have never broken a snap on tool. If you want quality and don't mind the price then that is the way to go.

For the $$ I like Husky from Home Depot.

1st problem was going to Lowes and buying Kobalt. I'm just an HD guy though.

I am also a fan of snap on. I also have a set of pittsburg tool rachet and socket set and I really like them.

Our Lowes here, S U C K S!

HD is the only place here in Lafayette, IN that I can get MDF. I think Menards started to carry it not to long ago. But I'd put my Rigid 18v up against Kobalts 18v .

Hahahahahaha. I luv you Brian.

Lowes was the first place I'd go until we got a Home Depot. Now it's the last Because of Jimmie Johnson alone.
1) HD had MDF
2) Had to support my driver, Tony Stewart!
3) I like a lot of their stuff better.

that could be the difference. all the lowes here are relitivly new.

they sorta started popping up about 3 years ago. so they are all brand new stores. all the HD are run down in comparison

Our HD is the newest home improvement store here. So it could be.

my wife is currently seasonally working for HD, and its easily the worst establishment in existence.
I'm afraid of widths.

I think it all comes down to location, location, location.

My local store is pretty friendly and knowledgeable. But if you drive 1 hr away to INDY they become rude.

Assholes! I wont forget how I was treated by them when I went to an Autograph session for Tony Stewart.
